Service was superb. Received advice concerning purchase, got custom color after a couple of tries on our deck. Alex was especially helpful each time we needed help. We came to store several times to get the right color and then to purchase additional cans. Totally over the top!

Fast friendly service. I ordered ahead online, but had to pick up a few additional items while I was there. Parking is behind the building or on the side street. Sherwin Williams has the best paints period.

The service has always been great but their pricing is just a little higher than the competition. The quality of product is better in many aspects.

I am so happy with the way my piano studio looks after giving it a face-lift with Sherwin-Williams paint on 6th Street in Austin.I painted a light color over another light color so it required only one coat. I received helpful advice and support from assistant Manager, LaVonne Holloway. My piano studio is now ready to rock and roll!

Buying paint is a daunting process for me; after a while, all the colors start to blend, and the thought of being stuck with a color that’s “not perfect” is not the best... With that said, Brandon made this process super awesome for me; I have been back quite a few times over a couple of months, and he managed to answer all my questions, helping out with suggestions where appropriate and helping steer me into a final great and “perfect” set of colors for my space. Definitely recommend this Sherwin-Williams for your next paint job, and ask for Brandon! (They’re all nice really though) :)

Do yourself a favor walk or drive to Clement's Paint (Benjamin Moore) just up the block. They were so helpful and polite. I ended up buying from them right after I left this store. Same quality paint but way more professional. While trying to buy paint the guy working there kept pulling down his mask to talk to me. I politely asked him to please stop removing his mask and he puts it under his nose. When I asked him to wear it properly, this giant man baby started whinning, I can't breath and then subjected me to his anti-science, conspiracy theory political rant. Meanwhile I'm wearing my mask breathing just fine, he's wearing a camo hunting mask that, I'm sure he breathes just fine when he wears it recreationally. And yes his mask probably didn't do much because it was clearly not intendid for protection against disease. 8 months in and this guy doesn't have a proper mask and yet there he is working in an enclosed space with the public.Honestly I don't care what you believe. Its a public safety mandate, STFU and wear the mask. . The store where you work is not a political pulpit. The capital building is a short walk away, go protest there. Even if YOU THINK it doesn't do anything or very much. It's the basic human decency that says I'll do the little I can to help protect those around me. To the owner, the guy who was working the morning of Saturday Oct 17 2020 lost you a pretty good sized sale (30 gallons of premium paint & supplies). Your employee felt it was more important to start a fight with a customer instead of wearing his mask for the 15 minutes my wife and I was in your store.

Normally, I go to Sherwin-Williams for my paint needs, after some less than stellar experiences with big box stores like Home Depot. The last Sherwin location I visited on Burnet, the staff were super helpful, able to mix a few gallons for me pretty quickly, and the quality was top notch. However, I stopped by this location for a color match (with a paint chip that was around the size of a dime or a nickel tall, about an inch wide, maybe a little bigger), and the person behind the counter said she couldn't color match it for me because the chip wasn't big enough. I asked her if we could try and see if the computer would spit something out, but she said she didn't even want to waste the paint. Honestly, I was a bit confused because I've matched even smaller chips up at other locations. It just felt unprofessional to me, and they weren't terribly busy so I was kind of surprised that they wouldn't even take the time to give it a shot. What made me a bit frustrated is that I was able to go to Home Depot and get an exact color match with this paint chip within 10 minutes (on a busy afternoon), no questions asked. In my experience, their technology for paint matching is way sub-par compared to a store like Sherwin.
