No organization, this was supposed to be a drive through pick up only, people are having to stand in line, no social distancing...

Salvation army received donated gifts from donor's and didn't make sure that all children received them. Some mothers who registered their children on time to receive gifts only got gifts for maybe 2 out of 4 or 5 kids. I'm leaving this review to make the Austin community aware of Angel tree/ salvation army. When the mother's tried to notify the agency that some of their kids didn't get gifts no one answered nor responded back. There's a major but he also doesn't answer his phone nor responds back to messages. To anyone who is thinking of donating to angel tree don't do it donate directly to the families. Salvation army will not care that the children didn't get their gifts that were donated . There was also no social distancing. The mother's waited outside in the cold for hours to only get home to see there's only maybe 1 or 2 kids who actually got their gifts that were donated. Also they will not care nor try to fix the problem. Please do not donate any gifts to angel tree please find a family and donate to them directly. I'm leaving this review so that anyone who have donated can see salvation army aren't giving all the children the gifts that were donated. Which is heart breaking. The agency won't even answer nor to any e-mails when tried to make them aware that some children didn't get their gifts. Please be careful donating Christmas gifts to this angency.

I can't stand the obnoxious employees. The lack of good stuff. Dogs running around unleashed. And all these salvation army thrift stores demand I leave my backpack up front. What is that? Virtually every other store in Austin has zero problem with me wearing a backpack. Including goodwill which has a much much better selection.
