Navy Federal Credit Union cards can not make a withdrawal here. I hope Navy Federal returns the favor.

It’s a good bank but it seems like rbfcu customer service only answer the phone when they feel like it.

My in person interaction at the Ben White branch with Garry who said he has worked for RBFCU since 2018 and at 8 different branches left me in tears today. Instead of offering solutions or trying to diffuse the customer interaction he further instigated the situation. He referred to me as a non member, questioned the intention of my withdrawl of funds, and even after initally writing down the amount on my requested withdrawal of $200 in quarters on the slip he then ripped the paper into pieces in front of me and then changed the amount to $50 saying he had to reserve the quarters for business use. I mentioned to him that I no longer lived in Texas and wanted the quarters so I could ɗo my Dad's laundry before I leave Friday. He offered no solution other than waiting a week and ordering quarters in bulk. In my frustrated state, I asked if I should just put my money in a bank where I live in Ohio. He spouted off that the wire transfer fee would be $15 and that a cashier check $3. I never asked him how much it would cost me to transfer my money elsewhere, so him spouting off associated fees with removing my money was further instigation. What Garry didn't offer or suggest to me was that I had the option to visit another location today and withdraw their daily limit of quarters. Garry didn't provide the excellent customer service that I had previously associated with RBFCU. I don't know how many times I've bragged about how great my bank has been to me in the 20+ years of being a loyal member. I opened my account at their first location in Live Oak when I was a teenager. Today my feelings have forever changed due to my horrible interaction with Garry.
*** I did call 210.945.300 and speak to someone regarding my experience with Garry. During that conversation she informed me that I could visit as many branch locations as I wanted and withdraw their daily limit of quarters. She also confirmed that I could use a personal check without the associated fees to deposit the funds I have remaining in RBFCU to another bank.
The phone representative was seemingly apologetic when she heard about my bank interaction.

This is the worst bank they will enroll you in something called “courtesy pay” without your knowledge. That is when you have no money and you use your card, instead of the card simply declining, the payment will go through and lend you the money while also charging you an extra courtesy fee. and when you notice that they do this they WONT refund you. No matter how many times you express that you didn’t know this was going on and that you simply can’t afford all the extra payments. They don’t care and they won’t refund you. Any other bank i’ve had before this would have refunded me especially when i had no idea. Thanks RBFCU now i can’t afford rent!!!

I've been with RBFCU since 1978, 45 years. They used to be a great credit union but that is no longer the case. As they grown from a great small town credit union to the monster they are now, they have gotten more and more difficult to work with. If you're thinking about joining RBFCU, look elsewhere and save yourself a lot of headaches.

Been with this bank for over a decade. Not a good bank as when I first started. Customer service is terrible . Recommend another credit union .

I've been with this bank for years. I've never called about anything, but yesterday, I had to call about fees put on to my account. I was charged $24 because a provider accidentally charged the wrong account. I canceled the charge immediately. So, I don't see how the transaction would have even gone through. They want me to get a letter and letterhead from PayPal to reverse the fees. The first lady said they couldn't even do it. I am pulling my money out of the account. I won't work with a bank that won't work with me.

Nearly a decade as a member and one sour experience with Andrea has me convinced to make a fresh switch. Thank you to all the other kind employees that have helped in the past.

I sincerely regret deciding on RBFCU to handle my business's needs. It has been a series of errors over the last few years. Avoid at all costs!
