I was recommended to come here by one of my docs when lots of other places didn't have one of my medications. There was a very short line, didn't take long at all and the staff were incredibly friendly!

Denied my important medical prescription that I really needed because my doctor isn’t local to Austin. Very crooked policy

Let's get one thing out of the way. This is a small pharmacy inside a small grocery store. They're short on staff. (However, since they are short on staff, you'll likely be dealing with the actual pharmacist instead of staff.) But I still switched my prescriptions there. Why?Quite simply, they're nice. They're also efficient. They did my annual flu shot with minimal muss or fuss. And they've done the exact same with my prescription transfer -- including making sure the copay discounts made it over as well. For a major chain, this probably comes as close as you can get to a small town pharmacy.

Surprisingly, Randall's Pharmacy charges the least for prescription pet medication in a brick and mortar. Randall's is charging me $116 for Trifexis. HEB Pharmacy quoted $129.99 and Griffith Small Animal Hospital quoted $170. Fabulous prices!

Randall's is very good at fly fishing. If you could actually find the items that are on sale and they actually have it in stock, you could get some really good deals. Unfortunately, more frequent than I care to encounter is they would have sales and when you go there they don't have it. I would see skinless boneless chicken breasts for $1.47, and when I went there, they had an empty shelf for that item. The same with their 79 cents 2 liter Canada Dry or 7 Up. Another bad experience I encountered was there's a grumpy old man stationed at the skinless boneless chicken breast at the Braker and 183 store that felt like you owed him $1 million when you tried to get the chicken breast and they actually had the item in stock.

They've taken very good care of me for the last 6 years or so and do everything in their power to make sure I get what I need at a great price. I recently tried to switch to a drugstore and my first order literally cost hundreds instead of the $30 or $40 I was used to. Even though I've moved away from the neighborhood I'm still going there.

This location is small but has a pretty good range of products. I do find Randall's to be more expensive than H-E-B or Trader Joe's but if you find a weekly deal the prices aren't too bad. I like that they carry items I can't find anywhere else like the Urban Farmer sweet potato crust chicken sausage pizza.

During the winter storm of 2021 all the HEBs were either closed or it took an hour just to get in. Meanwhile randells up the street was open and there was no line. They had water and food and no line but nobody wanted to go there because people just hate on Randells all the time. I know Rand though and his dad. They both kiss each other on the lips at work and that's fine by me.

This is a nice neighborhood Randall's. The produce selection is always very good and they have a good selection of yogurt. They have a large bakery department with everything from muffins to cake to fresh bread. The offer "Just for U" discounts if you sign up with them, and that is when you will save money. One time with this I got a case of water for $0.98. Awesome deal! I will note that I find their regular prices to be higher than their local competitor, so I first, only shop the Just for U, and second only consider things in their ad. Then I price shop against their competitor to see if it's truly a good deal. I find that you can get great deals on produce fairly regularly. I'm surprised they don't try harder to be competitive. I've been there at all times of the day and they are rarely crowded. Better pricing would steal me away for all my shopping.

I love my Randall's. The staff is friendly and have worked tirelessly through Covid. The store is smaller than an HEB and it feels more hometown and less corporate. When I moved to the area, I assumed I'd go to Randall's only in case of emergency and do my major shopping at HEB, but the produce is good and the selections that it's my main store.
