I sent my Marantz receiver to them since they are the factory service center. Mine cuts off after about 10 minutes using surround. They say they tested it and found no problems; I got it back and hooked it up, and it still has the same problem. I hooked it up with different speakers and cables, same issue. I wouldn't take anything to them again.

I recently had my Beosound 9000 repaired here, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results. It took two trips to Austin to get everything just right, but Chris and the team were incredibly helpful and professional throughout the process. They went above and beyond to ensure my CD player was functioning perfectly again.
Their expertise, dedication, and customer service are truly top-notch. If you’re looking for a reliable and skilled place to get your audio equipment serviced, this is the spot! Highly recommend!

Great place to take your new or vintage audio for repair. My vintage 70s receiver is now good for another 50 years! Excellent staff and friendly service. Highly recommended !!

After thousands of hours of blasting crusty death metal and punk, sound went out on my 70’s Pioneer receiver. I brought it in for service and they stated it would take 4-6 weeks for them to take a look at it. They diagnosed the issue AND fixed it in 3! They did a great job explaining the problem and making my old receiver sound better and shine brighter than when I got it over a decade ago.

I had (still have) an Audio Research D400 mkii amp I bought off EBay. There was a very noticeable problem with it when it was turned on. Come to find out, ARC now says this amp is “unserviceable.”
Well, I didn’t want a $2800 paperweight on my hands. I reached out to Pyramid. I think the tech felt sorry for me and also was curious to see if he could fix it. Long story short, the Phillips power caps are unobtanium plus they’re direct-soldered to the board.
As the tech explained it to me, he even went in some tech groups/forums where he was told by his peers to run in the opposite direction. Luckily, for me, he didn’t.
I got back a functioning, in-spec power amp that should be good for another 20-30 years. Audio Research would have told me it’s beyond repair.
The tech told me he really wouldn’t want to repair another one of these, so a part of me wonders if I should leave this review…but it’s 5-stars, so maybe he’ll have to help out another D400mkii owner down the line. ?

Just called this business to ask about a repair. The employee answered the phone, and I said, “Hi my name’s Jeremy. I had a quick question about…” and then I was interrupted with “STOP STOP STOP STOP STOP. We are really short handed right now, call back in 10 minutes.” Then I was hung up on.
I did not call back in 10 minutes and I’ll be taking my business elsewhere. I couldn’t even ask a simple question on the phone. Why even answer the phone if they are just going to rudely interrupt me and hang up on a potential customer? I would have understood if he politely asked me to call back. But he was borderline yelling on the phone. Definitely made me not want to call back, much less go inside of this business.

I brought them my amp and preamp that were sitting in a garage for 30 years. They brought them back to life perfectly and at a reasonable cost. Chris was also kind enough to offer me great advice on hooking everything back up. Very pleased with Pyramid and will definitely recommend them.

The service was great! I had an older tube amp, that had lost a channel, and it was fixed easy and completely and cleaned and returned to me looking almost new! Considering a new similar amp would costs $$$$$$ this was high value and return on investment. Thank you all so very much.

I was sent Pyramid Audio' information by Emotiva as a repair company for an XPA 2 Gen 1 (Awesome amp btw) that I had purchased back in 2012, but it is now introducing static to my speakers. I am in Canada and shipping this 100lb beast will be expensive!! So I called and asked if they could maybe point me in a direction to start troubleshooting this thing and all I got was they cant help me because it is a liability issue. I asked if it could possibly be the MOSFETs degrading, but same answer. Wow, what happened to the days where people would help others out just a little bit, and it wasn't all about the money. I don't have a thousand dollars to send this thing out to get repaired and I definitely do not have 5k to replace it. This world nowadays man, brutal.

Pyramid repaired my vintage Harmon Kardon 730 Twin Powered receiver & made it BETTER than new. I couldn’t be more pleased to have a working sentimental piece of equipment back! It wasn’t cheap, but I didn’t expect it to be so. It was worth it!
