As a parent of two kids that are in Primrose, I can say this place is amazing! My son is 4 and started going when he was 18 months and my daughter started at 3 months old.Pros:- fantastic teachers, with little turnover (turnover, if any, usually happens at the beginning of the fall for main teachers which happens everywhere! )- kids stay in one classroom with the same teachers daily providing stability while also introducing teachers in the next class up to help with classroom transitions- all the teachers and management know you and your kids names… literally all the teachers will say hi to your kid at pick up or drop off by name!- All meals are included so your child is introduced to a variety of food and no meal prepping or planning! (Have special dietary requirements, chef can help! Completely nut free!)- love their events with the kids (parents night out, parades, spring fling, holiday celebrations, and they celebrate every kids birthday with you being able to bring in a special treat for the class!)- fun dress up days throughout the month… can be a hassle some mornings when you forget, but it’s still a lot of fun for the kids!- kids learn so much! My son was a late talker, barely said da da at 18 months. They hooked us up with a speech therapist who met him at the school to practice and now he doesn’t stop talking!!- lots of outdoor play with FOUR different fully fenced playground areas based on age… AND they apply sunscreen!!- Procare app that tracks what your child did and is learning with adorable photos sent!- every classroom has an exterior door to their own playground set up- double door entrance with the second door always locked and requires a code to get in. The front desk is always manned by someone- management is fantastic- they call for every bump, bruise, accident, illness or ouchy… this is big when it comes to trusting someone with my babies!Cons:- It’s expensive, but worth it!- long waitlists… but there is a reason everyone is wanting in!

Primrose School of Shady Hollow has been the best place for our daughter! She has been there since February and has absolutely thrived since day one. The entire staff - teachers and administrators, are incredible. They are so caring and thoughtful and that shows with how our daughter is growing into a smart, caring little girl. We cannot recommend or thank this school enough!!

Our little guy recently turned four and it's been such a joy to watch him grow and develop while at Primrose School of Shady Hollow. We are so grateful to the incredible teachers who have been a part of his Primrose journey, both in the past and future. Being part of the Primrose community is a privilege, and we're so grateful for our amazing experience. Our daughter has been part of Primrose since 2021, they make her feel like part of the Primrose family and enjoys every minute of the attention given to her!We appreciate every one of the teachers and staff, they truly are helping our little one grow into a very respectful, smart girl.

We moved our daughter to Primrose from another local school about a year and a half ago. We couldn’t love the staff and teachers more! We have full confidence that she is learning and thriving each day. The staff is very responsive and communicative. We love our school!

We have been enrolled since 2019 and I cannot say enough good things about Primrose of Shady Hollow. All of my son's teachers have been wonderful and the front office staff does an excellent job communicating with parents. Going through the pandemic with a young child is daunting enough, but knowing the teachers and staff went above and beyond to ensure the health and safety of students and staff went a long way to make everyone feel comfortable. I highly recommend this daycare!

The Primrose School of SH is incredible! We started here with my first daughter when she was a little under 2 years old, and enrolled our second daughter when she was a little over a year old. I had done a lot of research looking into daycares in the south Austin area, visiting and inquiring about teacher/staff turnover, accreditation, classroom ratios, etc. This daycare had something intangible about it, and so I decided to enroll my kids here. They have great teachers who really care about their littles. My girls have grown leaps and bounds, and I feel confident that they are not only getting the care they need but also growing socially and academically. We have seen them grow into responsible, empathetic, and well rounded girls. The teachers and staff are accommodating and friendly, and we couldn’t be happier with choosing Primrose three years ago!

We have been at Primrose for over a year now (in the Preschool classroom and now PreK) and we absolutely love the Primrose family! The teachers are so caring and the staff is very helpful. My little guy loves school and looks forward to going every day!

I can not express enough what an amazing school Primrose Shady Hollow is, as a working parent there is nothing more you want, than to find a safe place with a positive environment and good curriculum for your children, a place where you feel comfortable and sure that they'll be ok. My daughter was there from pre-K until kindergarten then summer camp, and I wish I'd enrolled her there sooner, the staff (Miss Brittney, Alma, Kenna, Laura) is friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and always willing to help, the teachers are awesome (Vanessa, Brooke, Christian, Tiffany, Izzy, Alma, McKinley) always with a positive attitude, the projects they plan for the kids are amazing and kiddos learn a lot, my daughter can almost read and she hasn't even started 1st grade. The place is always clean and the playground is cool. The owner Lisa is amazing, before shady hollow we went to other primrose and the level of service/ educational level and quality of staff and teachers does not compare and the difference between campuses are the owners, and miss Lisa has done an amazing job in creating a healthy environment and keeping her personnel happy. This is by far the only daycare with the lowest staff turnover I've ever seen (and I've been using daycares for 6 years now) I love that they can provide that stability for the kids! I highly recommend this school/daycare.

Highly recommend. Teachers are teaching. Administrative staff are always present (unlike other schools who have teachers doing admin work and vice versa). They do exactly what they say. Your child will get an education, social skills, small group music, science, math and reading time as well as plenty of playtime. My child is 3 and says "Mommy - let's count the syllables of words!" She also can identify when someone's speaking other languages and uses an advanced vocabulary, and I know it's from their help. They have strict security and health measures as well. We love this school and are very picky. A+
