I have been going to Poochies for over 2 years, and the service is immaculate, every single time. I have a mini Aussie, which requires more detail and boy, he comes out looking incredible every time! All staff is extremely sweet and professional, as soon as my cuttie is done, I'm notified. The place itself looks amazing with plenty of space for youd pup to hang out while its their turn. Which I shall add, pup is always done under 2 hours. Pricing is also very reasonable for the level of service they provide both human and dog. 5 stars is not enough to describe Poochies! Highly recommend for any pets parents!

Poochie’s can handle my finicky GR’s paw trims, tangled fur, and baths with ease, and she always looks like a “show girl” after her grooming. Peter is great and works hard to meet our scheduling needs. The location is convenient right in Steiner, and despite all the activity, the shop is always very calm and dogs seem relaxed. I’m very happy and grateful we found Poochie’s!

I had moved recently and this place was highly recommended. They are great and did a great job on my American Eskimo. Peter the owner is very professional.

Poochies does a great job! I have 2 doodles and am always happy with the beautiful job they do! I also like that I can set up my appointment online so that there is no stress for future appointments. Yolanda does a great job and has been there for a long time. I really like that there is consistency in their groomers. I would definitely recommend Poochies!

Our dog has been a client here for the past 3 years . It’s been a great experience for him and us . Peter and Madison are always pleasant, helpful and supportive. The online scheduling option is another plus .Forgot to mention the salon is conveniently located in Steiner Ranch and has plenty of parking right in front of it .

We love Poochies! Rosie is always so soft and fluffy after her appointments! The staff take great care of her and Rosie always gets excited and happy to see them too.

Poochies is our go to place to take our dogs to get groomed. They’re crateless, which was important to us since our dogs don’t do well in crates. Poochies is also the only grooming place our anxious dogs have ever gotten groomed where they’re not scared to go in. And not to mention, the pups always look incredible after getting groomed. Peter is incredibly honest and runs a great operation. It’s a good drive from us and you have to plan and schedule in advance because they get booked up — but all of that is well worth it.

Peter is so nice and everyone there at Poochies does a great job with our dog Barney every time! Our Barney is a frequent quest at Poochies and has been for at least 4 years. Thank you all!!

We have been going to Poochies for a while now , and lately their service has been poor. They still do not allow you to come in to the store , you have to check in/out in the parking lot . Peter the owner or manager brings your pet to the car ,and then takes your credit card and ask you want to tip .he doesn’t give you the amount.The grooming has been subpar , they do not g from poodl es well . I continue to get flackthem saying your dog is highly anxiou is thheavily matted ( which isn’t true)

My dog has never been happier going to the groomer. She is actually wagging her tail going in, and comes out looking beautiful. Love this place and the staff!

I called to see if they do walk ins for a simple nail trim. The owner or whoever answered is the rudest, slowest person imaginable and I would never trust him just from his curt attitude.Additionally I asked if they made accommodations as my dog is a huge Great Dane who will only allow his nails clipped if I am present. If I am not there he will have a severe panic attack, I let the man I was speaking with know that, and also told him that if they don’t do that it’s fine and I’ll go elsewhere. Instead of giving me a yes or no, he went on a rant about how he “has found that pets do better without the owner”- first of all how can someone make that broad generalization? And second, I know my own dog. Needless to say I told him no thanks and we will be going to our usual- barkin creek is awesome. Wanted to try this place out because it’s closer but… absolutely not!!!

Bad guess service. If you consider the minute you can talk to the employees when they go out to pick up someone else's dogs. I went here for the first time and no matter how many times I knocked, no one opened the door nor did they answer the phone

They did a great job on my goldendoodle for a summer cut and were very efficient with time. He seemed calm and happy when I picked him up. No issues with him or any cuts (which is what I always worry about). We had tried another dog grooming place on 620 previously that was horrible. I am very pleased with Poochies and will be going back!
