Everyone here is amazing. They took such good care of our Luna girl and let us stay in the room with her. Dr. Matt Ray was very patient and willing to answer all our questions. The office space is super cute and the energy is very calming. Very excited
for this to be our new veterinary office :)

Super sweet vet clinic. My girl and I moved to Austin from Houston last year. I adored my vet in Houston. I was hesitant about the vets here. I’m happy to go to Paz for my girl. Dr Lau saw her the first time for an upset stomach. She was kind and treated Lilly with probiotics. We recently saw Dr. Ray for her annual check up and shots. He was great! We will make Dr. Ray our go to when applicable. The staff and facility are awesome. Highly recommend.

Super friendly staff and welcoming clinic space. My dog can usually get anxious when visiting the vet, but here the space is well decorated and doesn't feel like a typical vet's clinic! Highly recommend. Also, the pricing is reasonable. Will definitely be bringing my pup here from now on.

This is the second time I have used Paz Vet clinic to help our beloved Labradors cross the Rainbow bridge. Words can't describe how amazing this vet clinic is. The care and compassion goes way beyond a normal vet clinic. Sadly, my beloved Labrador, Kona crossed over on 9/30. Paz got us in and was so supportive. During that visit we placed in a beautiful room. So many cozy pillows and blankets. Felt warm and not cold and sterile. The staff talked with me and were so kind. Today, I was called to pick up our Paw Print. We received a card and all of the staff took the time to write a message on our card. Luz, thank you for helping us and your kind words. Thank you to all of the other staff members who helped us. Truly first class in our book. Our hearts still hurt but have plans on looking for a new best friend early 2025. You guys will be our vet for our new furry best friend. I am so impressed by the exemplary level of care we received during our appointment and today. Truly blessed to have y'all as a vet and service.

PAZ is the BEST!
They were able to see my dog within an hour after injury. Although it only was a minor paw injury, the vet did a thorough evaluation on her and gave me a clear course of treatment to help her. He and the tech stayed with us and made sure I didn't have any other questions or concerns. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The facility was very clean and well maintained.
I am truly grateful I found them.

More of a huh I don't know what's wrong with your dog, could be this, could be that..."could do better at diagnosis instead of wasting valuable time and charging an arm and a leg for it" other than that very friendly staff of course

My husband and I have taken our pets to Paz East for over 5 years now. We will never take them anywhere else. Dr. Ray has become our forever vet. He is so kind, thorough, and patient with us and our pups. Really can't say enough good things about Paz and about Dr. Ray in particular.

Unfortunately, they have rarely been helpful. Experience was always pleasant for me and my pup while we were there, but for most issues I would have been better off saving the money and figuring something else out.

Paz East is hands down the best vet!! They take such good care of our dog. We’ve been going to them for almost a year. We called today to see if they would be able to see him on a whim due to an infection he developed. They squeezed him in last minute & were so quick. I highly recommend if anyone is looking for a new vet in the area.

Love this clinic! Been going here about 5+ years and always have a great experience. Love being able to schedule online too. Every vet tech is fantastic with my dog and every veterinarian takes plenty of time to answer my questions. They’re very upfront with costs and work with me on what I’m able to do. Always very impressed with their service!

I'm giving Paz East a 1 Star after the experience I had with my 8 year old Lab Retriver, who ended up in the Emergency Vet for 5 days and thankfully is OK. She was prescribed Rimadyl, which I later found out is high risk-especially for middle aged/older Labradors according to a widely published study. The drug was given without first doing blood tests to check her liver health which, after consulting with another Vet, was borderline malpractice. I was also told that there are much safer alternatives to Rimadyl out there.
Her first signs of trouble happened 5 days into taking the drug. She wasn't eating. I contacted Paz and was told by a receptionist that "sometimes dogs just get sick of eating the same thing" and not to worry unless she was throwing up. Fortunately, the next morning she did throw up and I brought her in and they did do a blood test and her liver panel came back 12x higher than normal. I immediately rushed her to the Emergency Vet where she spent 5 days and fortunately has recovered.
My last impression of Paz? As we were leaving for the Emergency Vet, the Veterinarian who treated her said he would call and check in to see how she was doing...and never bothered.

Everyone at Paz East side is wonderful, I would definitely recommend taking your pets here!
I have a dog who is very scared of strangers and can get aggressive (especially at the vet) so it’s been hard to find the right place for him until now!
Everyone at the location is so nice and has been very understanding of my dogs unique personality. I can tell that he is more comfortable here than any other place in Austin that we’ve tried and I am too! Every time that we’ve visited, we’re greeted in a calm & collected manor and put in a room that has a side entrance so we can avoid other people/dogs in the lobby (which can be a trigger for my dog). It’s such a great experience to have this kind of support at a time that can be stressful for both me & my dog.
Dr. Lau is incredible and her love of animals was immediately evident the first time we came in. She is so patient & so caring in her work, even with my dog who may be a bit more to handle than others. On top of that she is extremely knowledgeable and has shared some great info with us at our visits!
Thanks so much to Dr. Lau & everyone at Paz East - me & Pilot really appreciate all that you do!
