Terribly run facility. There are many storage facilities in Austin that you should do yourself a favor and choose another place. This place is unethical, overpriced (they will increase your rate and charge you fees without notice), and now dirty (bugs all over the hallways and outside). Jules, the current manager, does not care about customers and will debate your facts and then ignore you. Save your money and time because any other place is better.

This office is great! Jules was very helpful in making sure I had the right size unit and was very kind. Great location and a very clean, safe and well kept facility.

Tried to rent a unit online. Wouldn’t work so I called. Good customer service. Then a local guy called as well just to see if I had questions before going to the unit for the first time. Great customer service. Everything was as explained.

This place is the worst run storage facility I have ever used. It's over priced, the access codes never work, and the management is never on site or can never be found (probably sleeping in the storage unit apartment - Jules). I recommend going down the street a mile to the next storage facility.

I hardly don't write reviews ..But I want people to know that this storage place is awesome! I lost my income and was not able to make my monthly payments but they worked with me...Cindy work was so sincere and caring and did not want me to lose my possessions as well..she literally understood and never made me feel bad or threaten me always working with me! Cindy was an answer to my prayers! In this ugly world ..we need Cindy's! I know other storage places wouldnt care if my stuff would have got auction off. But not this place! Thank you Cindy amd her boss that you guys understand that sometimed life happens I say all this to say if you want to store your possessions in a safe place..and staff that has empathy and integrity, I highly recommend! You impacted my life in this stressful time! God Bless ?

I’ll admit I was a little sad when my mom and pop storage place was purchased by Extra Space. I liked supporting the sweet retired couple… they brought their dogs to work!! How cool is that??? But I digress…Since Extra Space took over I have not encountered one single roach, and I have a HUGE fear of roaches ( and kittens), so I’m constantly on the lookout. Every other storage facility I’ve ever used has had their fair share of them. This place is clean. Really clean. It even smells nice.The staff at Extra Space have the work ethic of a border collie. They do not stop. Their multi-tasking is on point and they are very kind and actually seem to care. I recently received a text from Jules ( the assistant manager). Apparently, I left my unit unlocked and she had tried reaching me a few days prior but never heard back from me. Concerned about my things, she was reaching out again. Well, I had smashed the hell out of my phone while skateboarding (for the first time in twenty years) and I was without a phone during the time she tried to reach me. I am SO happy she tried again. I have some fairly expensive pieces of art PLUS a Bill Buckner baseball card! Yikes! I texted her right back, signed a consent form for her to use my code and -BAM! - she took care of it. And even texted to reassure me she had taken care of it. That’s exemplary customer service.So- just do it - rent from these guys. Your stuff will be secure and you’ll never see a roach.

Worst experience ever trying to cxl my storage unit. Never had a problem when it was OakHill. Some of the rudest customer service I've ever experienced.

Good facility. Clean and air conditioned! The only issue is communication is a struggle. I’m always told they documented sending various notices (emails, texts, snail mail) but I never get these notices. They raised rent without notifying me and after an hour on the phone the call center did not care to offer any solution. Luckily the storage center managed reached out and offered a solution to compensate for the lack of notice which I appreciated! Just the process of making it right was a bit taxing. Overall a great place for storage! I recommend going to the office and avoiding the call center if you need help.

The process of reserving/setting up is super easy and Cindy was my right hand helping me along the entire way. I cannot rave enough about the hospitality and service Cindy provides! She has made my moving process so much less stressful—which means a lot!! Been an absolute pleasure to rent here

Loved this place when it was called Oak Hill Storage and run by the previous owners. They changed the ownership with no notice and now are run by a company that charges higher rates and unreasonable fees and makes it so hard to reach a human when you have questions about your units. It’s a shame that an amazing place could go downhill this quickly. I wish they would value their customers more. So disappointing!

I checked several storage businesses in my area. This was by far the cleanest, most secure and staff was super friendly! Highly recommend them!

Nothing but a raving review for Cindy in the front office. I have been renting a unit since it was Oakhill Storage and I thought they were providing good service. Cindy is extremely personable and goes above and beyond to make sure you feel appreciated and taken care of. 10 out of 10 recommend.

This place has gone downhill so fast within one month after the old owners left. Before this was a beautiful facility , maybe the best in austin. Within just one month hardly anyone is ever working the location , carts and dollys are absent and I’m guessing stolen since the staff is not here often , the cameras and monitors which provided safety and insight who was at the facility are now offline, the place is starting to get untidy. This is about to turn into any other storage unit soon. It just shows how great the previous owners were and how much love they put into their business. I hope the new folks fix this soon … it’s now equal to a uhaul location

I just read that there is free wifi and outlets in units. I can never get on WiFi they do not give the customers password. I also have never seen electrical plug access and I've had several units here. I've been renting here over 2 years. Extra space recently took over and now it's unkept not clean and very impersonal. Grass over grown. Carts never in right location, just left randomly around facility.I miss the couple that use to run this facility when it was oak hill storage.
