Really good customer service from the custom framing department. The lady that helped me was professional and helpful. She seemed to care a lot in her selections of frames and mats. The price tag is quite high starting at $230+ and the turn around time is rather long, 2.5 weeks minimum. You do have to pay in full before placing the order. I haven't received the final product yet, but the service has been so far so good. Highly recommend.

Good selection and convenient if you live in sunset valley, BUT It is bizarre that there are multiple employees standing around at the check out and you have to self-check and bag. My bill was over $300. Seriously flawed.The employees are not there for customer service, which is sad because there are way better art supply stores in town to spend your money.

Service staff i knowledgeable. No planner supplies, one of my main reasons for shopping at Michael's. Sparse Scrapbooking supplies. Now self checkout only! So sad to see Michael's making such poor choices.

First of all, let me say that Michael's has always been my go-to place for crafting. I've been a satisfied patron for 40 years. Today, out of the blue, all of the checkouts up front that are usually manned with helpful employees are now self-checkouts. There was not one counter manned by a human. I consider this a true lack of service! Fortunately, I was able to find a sweet employee by the name of Jessica who thankfully stepped in to help me. I certainly hope management reconsiders this new change to all self-checkouts. It's not helpful to the customers at all and certainly can't be considered good service. Your competition has several checkouts fully manned with polite and helpful people. Michael's, you've taken a step back in customer service!

We have had many items framed and we had a wonderful, fun, and creative experience with Alissa. She guided us to help commemorate our favorite concert experience to date! Her ideas and enthusiasm made the whole experience enjoyable! Thanks Alissa (and friends) for a fun Friday night at Michaels!

I had a Christmas gift sent to this store by my sister-in-law. I got busy with life and walked in about 2 weeks later and was told the order had been picked up. They have it all in bins right by the front door and do zero ID verification. It's a system based on trust. The manager was called and filled the order but not before said she would just have to TRUST that I was being honest and hadn't already picked it up. You have set up a system that is going to create theft. You best believe you aren't going to treat innocent customers like thieves. She did the right thing by making it right but not before making sure to shame me for the assumed theft she couldn't prove. Shame on her and shame on Michael's.

Had less of a yarn selection when i went than they normally do. It did look like they were changing what yarn brands they carry but i dont really know. I was able to find yarn for my project so all is well

I am so disappointed with the Michael's self checkout policy. The lines were long and there was only one worker at the registers. She was hanging out leaning on the counter and talking to a friend, completely ignoring all of the customers. Why aren't prices going down if there are fewer workers? Makes no sense.

I have had so many pleasant experiences working with the Framing department at Michael's. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgable. I'm always really satisfied with the finished product and I can't wait to get more custom pieces framed.
