While I understand having to have a policy about returning clearance items, I think it is bad practice to not do anything when it turns out the item is broken as received. I basically just paid money to throw something away. Now I know.

Had such a wonderful experience being helped by Christina in the framing department. She truly took her time to help me figure out exactly what would bring my piece to life, down to the smallest design details - I couldn't be more excited to bring it home and have it up on my wall every day!

I had a great post-Christmas shopping experience at Michael's. Despite some shelves being empty, I scored fantastic discounts of 60% on fun ornaments. The store wasn't too crowded, and parking was ample in the complex. Overall, a satisfying visit for holiday decorations at a great price. Friendly staff too!

Went to buy birthday gift and was having issues applying my voucher, cashier acknowledged me, but proceeded to check out three more people before any sign of helping me, including two that entered the line after the cashier stated they would help. I then get back in line since they are obviously not being helpful and want to free up the self checkout for others. Then when I arrive at the cashier they proceed to help the person who just entered the line behind me. I walk out at this point and call the store manager who does nothing to make it right and just said they would talk to the team. Which, I appreciate but doesn’t help me get the gift I went in for. Absolutely hurts my feeling and this behavior truly isn’t acceptable especially to someone who is trying their best to be a good customer and just wanted to checkout.

Service: Horrible. The site is super slow and if you need to talk to someone, you have to dig to find it. Good luck with that. You get a bot. Then a person with canned answers. If you don't receive an item you ordered, they will reship. If it's out of stock, they send you an email saying the shipment was cancelled and you will get a refund. When the refund is lower than the purchase price, they are happy to refund the extra, but you are out the tax you paid. Messed up! Very difficult process. I am sure they hope people just ignore it so that they can gain some profit off of that. Selection: It's pretty great, but hard to get from page to page. The site is so slow that looking around is super difficult. Think dial up internet from the 90s. Value: A lot of things come from China. One item was broken. Yes, one broken and one missing completely. No packaging material in the box, which makes the value a lot less. Some items are just fine. My ribbon is great. Overall, would I order through the website again, no. Why do they get two stars? Because I did get most items and they reshipped the broken item rather quickly.

Worst freaking place ever. You got staff standing at the register and I asked if she could help check me out. She point me at the self checkout when I got a car full of stuff. I said I do not want self checkout, she said you need to do self checkout unless you pay cash. Seriously. This is why I will never come back and will make sure no one come back here.When I walked around, I asked for few things with their staff, they said I just need to look for it. OMG.WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER.

I was searching the internet for a Christmas ornament that was similar to an ornament from my childhood. I came across a holiday decoration that caught my eye. I clicked on the image and it took me to Micheals website. The item was in stock and available. I went to Michaels. The store was busy, people were wandering aimlessly, staff was exhausted and I found the item. I purchased the item and left the store as quickly as possible. Happy Holidays, 2023

If it's too good to be true, rethink it. I decided to take advantage of Thanksgiving and Black Friday Deals. However they do not stand behind the products they are selling. I had to prove the item was damaged (with pictures) before it could be returned. They are more small town "crafts" than a big ticket item retailer.

The manager told me they had an emergency and disappeared, leaving their radio on the counter and the lithe employee kept requesting their help while they were backed up. Poor thing was left alone and then left as well and no one helped me or the others waiting?

Terrible experience in the Framing department at the Arboretum store. I went in to have three pieces of art installed with glass. The two women scoffed at me and bickered back and forth as to whether they should do this. I have been a long time customer of Michael's Cedar Park location and have given that store tons of business. Michael's should consider closing the framing department here as there were no other customers and these two associates didn't want the business. Go elsewhere with your business.

Do not fall for credit card promotion. Even after paying this card off in full and receiving verbal assurance that it is paid off, I continue to receive high interest charges on a zero balance.

Kalynn and Monica (2140 Southgate Rd., Colorado Springs, CO) in custom framing were AMAZING!!! I can't say enough great things about their professionalism, incredible customer care skills, and at the end impeccable framing job. They not only helped me with choosing the perfect framing details for very special paintings all the way from Europe, but also did astonishing job with framing itself! I will never go anywhere else for my custom framing but Michaels - by far the best customer service and job done!!!

Framing department is what my review relates to. I had taken a few things here and it was extremely slow but I took a couple more items and now, never again. Dropped off something in May and was given a June date for pickup. I received the call that 1 of my items was ready...in August! A couple weeks later got a call that the other was done so I went to pick it up and it was done incorrectly. I was told we'll have it fixed and finished in a week or two, now, a week before October I just walked in and picked up my still unfinished framing order. Just over it.

Christina went above and beyond for me here. I was stumbling through a crochet project and went to buy yarn. I asked a question and instead of just an answer, I got a mentor. Every team member is happy to help if they can and will find an answer if they can't. The store is clean, well-stocked, and the staff is knowledgeable. You've made a customer for life.

I had visited seven different store locations recently for my upcoming wedding, but this one was the worst customer service experiences as of late. When I entered, Christina greeted me with a casual "What's up?" I informed her that I needed to ship something via UPS, and she rather rudely informed me that it wasn't ready for shipping. I asked why, and she replied that I needed to have it sealed beforehand. I wasn't bothered by this and asked if there was tape available. She pointed me to aisle seven. I had a return from my previous visits, I encountered the same attitude from her coworker Harrison. He didn't offer a greeting, just asked "cash or check." I had to explain that I was making a return. Although I generally like Michael's, I won't be returning to this particular store. If you want respectful and dignified treatment, I'd suggest trying another location.
