I told myself "I'm just coming in for some parts" and then bought myself a new pair of sure-grips. Very friendly and helpful staff, nice prices, and a nice selection of skates. Can't wait to fall a bunch on my new skates!

Installed new bushings on my skates and had a lot of gear and accessories. Highly recommend, we drove from San Antonio to come here and we will definitely be back!

They are always very helpful and willing to go above and beyond. Their prices are very reasonable and, when you take shipping into account, often less than what it would cost to buy online. The store is fun to shop in and the selection is very good.

You get what you pay for, if you can’t afford what they have to offer then look elsewhere.However, if you’re looking for somewhere to get tailored advice that results in unparalleled results then look no further.The team at Medusa Skates was so responsive and eager to help answer any questions I had. Living in Virginia, where the closest skate shop was 5 hours away, I decided to reach out to the Medusa team because they were locally owned and operated from my hometown of Austin. Despite being over 1,000 miles away, the Medusa team answered my emails promptly and eradicated any doubts or concerns that I had with picking the right equipment for myself.After about 20+ emails back and forth, in just 3 days, we were able to decide on the most appropriate combination to fit my needs. I sent Medusa Skates my skate boots to be mounted and they did and amazing job. Lilly was so helpful through email and answered all my questions. Pricing was reasonable. Overall great experience!

This is the best skate shop in Austin, hands down. Lots of good, niche skate products and brands, and super informative and helpful staff. Rae is especially knowledgable about quad skating, which was helpful as I was trying to find new wheels and a truck to build my own skates. 5/5

Medusa Skates is amazing. I got my skates and my man's skates there. Somehow a ghost swooped in after we checked out tho and knocked down the whole dang pin display. Big shout out to Rey who, not only got us the best skates and wheels, also cleaned up the mess this ghost left. Rey is a real one. She also handled this super weird guy who came in with finesse and precision. SHOUT OUT TO REY
