When other big chain pharmacies seem to be having trouble filling popular prescriptions because of supply issues, Martins always seems to come through. Everyone is very helpful and attentive too. Worth the drive and parking to get what you need, when you need it.

UPDATE: A glasses exchange will happen after all. See the store's response to my initial post below. I am awarding more stars-GS ORIGINAL POST: This customer erred by not keeping (maybe not even requesting) his receipt for half-price sunglasses ($25 cost) sold next to the pharmacy counter. A temple on the new glasses started going askew about 2 weeks later so I ventured back to Martin's, at my wife's suggestion, to seek a swap-out--the askewed glasses for an identical replacement pair. No go without the receipt, cashier said. When I pointed out that I obviously also had the glasses pouch from the purchase--perhaps a sign I'd bought the glasses there--the cashier didn't engage; he went silent, staring into his big screen. So, keep every receipt, you 21st-century pals, or else you'll walk away thinking CVS ain't so bad after all. Photo of skewed glasses below.

I had my dogs med prescription filled here, I had the worst customer service experience when picking up the meds. Made me decide to use People’s RX instead on my refill. The meds were done correctly, so giving 3 stars. Won’t go back most likely; many other businesses can do the same work. Guess they have a problem hiring good service people like a lot of places.

Traveling from out of town and had trouble finding my moms rx through any cvs. The pharmacist and team at Lamar were so helpful and kind. Helped take care of one less worry in getting care for my mom. Highly recommended. Thank you!!

The BEST pharmacy I’ve ever been to/The best pharmacy experience I’ve ever had. They are extremely kind, quick, understanding, and efficient. I can’t believe I’ve been going Walgreens for years when places like Lamar Plaza Drug store exist. They are 10x better than Walgreens and CVS. Not only was Rashida (sorry if i spelled that wrong & plz correct me if wrong) so nice over the phone, she came up with excellent solutions to a current problem I was having with my prescription. This issue has been going on for weeks, and she is the only person who actually offered a solution. They were also very kind, and fast once I went in to pick up my prescription. I will definitely be coming back. Whoever owns/manages this place, you should be very proud of your staff and yourself for running such a great business.

I came here to get my infant son his COVID vaccine. The staff was super friendly, we easily found parking and we were in and out. It's in a shopping center on South Lamar. We made a COVID pediatric appointment online.When we arrived they let us know that we needed a Rx for the vaccine but were able to get us one on the spot. And the attendant who gave my son his vaccine was great.Highly recommend for other parents hoping to get their kids vaccinated. It is one of the few pharmacies in Austin that carry the pediatric vaccine.

Oh my goodness! What lovely, professional, efficient people. They ordered my hard-to-find medicine w/in hours of receiving the Rx and set up delivery in two days. I'm so impressed.

I do not recommend this pharmacy. They sent my medication to a completely different address when I specifically gave them my new address more than once. Now I don't have my medication that I need and can't miss. The delivery service is always so messed up with them and if you need your medications a certain day and they deliver them to the wrong address, well you won't have your medications because of them. I do not recommend them at all. The worst

My husband and I are so happy we came across Martin’s Wellness for our PCR Covid test. The staff are friendly, the booking process was easy and the whole experience was fast and seamless. Mitch is the best!Would highly recommend.

I had a great visit for my flu shot. They have online appointment booking with reminders, and are fully staffed so you don’t have to wait. Which is nice.They also have greeting cards, travel size toiletries, medications, supplements and pet supplements and CBD.

Helpful, responsive, great customer service, prescription delivery, and more. I grew up going to the old Lamar Plaza Drug Store where the south Lamar Alamo drafthouse is now, and am so happy to be able to be a customer now as an adult. Grateful for their help!
