Andrea was wonderful! This was my first time buying jeans from Madewell and she made my experience so easy and smooth. She even made sure to check in with me while trying on my jeans and helped with sizing even though the store was super busy

It concerns me to see a “manager” demean an associate in the store while I am trying to shop for styles for my daughters birthday. Hearing inappropriate commentary from a manager to an associate displays how unprofessional some of the managers working in the store are. These managers need to treat their employees better before they lose them. Will not be returning.

Went in the weekend before thanksgiving, so it was real busy and you had to get your name on a list to try things on but man oh man the employees all did a wonderful job offering to hold onto your items while you perused and waited for a fitting room, and several of them went the extra step opening boxes to look for sizes they didn't have on the floor. I felt like they really went the extra mile during a busy time, and none of it felt fake or forced.

Really disappointing experience this evening at Madewell. Spent probably 20 minutes in the store and really wanted to find a flattering pair of jeans. Not a single employee acknowledged mine or my partner’s presence the entire time, or asked if I needed help with anything. Felt incredibly, almost purposefully, unwelcoming and I couldn’t get out of there sooner after trying only a couple things on. Would definitely rather spend my money elsewhere!

I had the most pleasant shopping experience at this Madewell location. My husband and I were on a date downtown and I had forgotten sandals to wear with my dress. Every single person I interacted with was so kind and helpful. I found the perfect pair of shoes, and they even gave me a discount. It truly made my day! These ladies deserve a raise!

I normally don’t write reviews, but my experience at Madewell on SoCo was so wonderful that I felt it necessary to share. I walked into the store hoping to get some help from a stylist in finding a good pair of pants. I had no appointment but they accommodated me anyways. I’m non-binary, and generally have a difficult time finding pants/jeans that make me feel good because I don’t quite fit in either womens or mens sizing. I was met with so much kindness & expertise. The stylists who helped me were super knowledgeable and brought in a number of different sizes and options until we found the perfect fit together and I ordered online. The store manager, Devon (unsure of spelling) was so helpful and kind and really made me feel seen & heard. She and the rest of the team at Madewell on Soco are wonderful and I will definitely be back! Thank you all so much!

Nice selection of menswear at a good price. Helpful staff at South Congress store. They didn’t have my size of jeans in stock/wash I wanted, but they ordered it for me online with free shipping. They give a $20 discount if you donate your old denim, and they use it for humanitarian causes such as insulation in home construction. Very great mission!A note on denim sizing; they recommend that you get one waist size smaller in Madewell jeans than your typical size. For instance, I’m usually a 31 and purchased a 30.

4 Stars for a great brick and mortar shop in the heart of South Congress. I was in town and walking around, enjoying the touristy spots and grabbing bites along the way. I've shopped at Madewell online and the shop in Atlanta and was happy to see another shop here. The store is clean, bright, and well organized. It's a great place to finally try on that thing you kept leaving in your cart online. I ended up finding some great basic black Ts for a reasonable price. I also appreciate that they had quite a bit of staff working on the weekend. I was asked if I needed help a few times and took someone up on the offer one of those times. Otherwise, it's pretty basic retail. A bit cramped, but that's expected in this highly-trafficked part of town.
