Joke of a company. Bought an item, went to pick it up on the last day I had to pick it up, they received me saying that the item was not ready, that the holiday had pushed deliveries and that I still had a week to pick it up. I anyways communicated the situation to them in that same moment over email. They replied the next day saying they will check. Couple of days later they told me since I didn't pick it up the item was being returned to their warehouse and I was being charged a re-stocking fee. Don't trust these people. Stay away frome this fraudulent company.

Video record when you go to pick up your item. Staff at the pickup location is great but their support staff is horrible. I had a scheduled appointment for my item fifteen minutes after the pick up location opened. You have to check in with GPS turned on and be within 300ft. All that went well. I recieved a text saying staff went to go get my item. Staff told me they couldn't give me the item because support staff had cancelled it at 8am before anyone was on site that day. When I reached out to support, support first told me I forfeited that item. Then theey told me I never showed up. I have a dash camera in my car and left my car running so I had literal video footage with audio of me speaking to staff (Texas is a 1 party consent state). Support staff still claimed I never showed up and forfeited my item. I had to file for fraud with my bank to get a refund. I provided my bank with my appointment email, screenshots of my texts, and the video from my dash cam. Same with loveseat. Record with your phone because they will cancel your item without notifying you and keep your money and lie to your face.

Loveseat is shutting down and not delivering items as promised. Get a refund while you can. I’d give no stars and unethical behavior. Still on in CA.

There are better auction houses out there. Poor customer service online. Warehouse crew very helpful. A real clusterf@& operation, billing issues, inflated retail values, ridiculous added on “handling fees” on top of buyers premium without prior notice.

I have purchased MANY items through loveseat. Some worked, some didn't, some weren't even the item pictured. Dealt with the disgruntled warehouse guy that used to work there waited in line for forever for pickups and have even shown up to pickup items that weren't even there on more than one occasion. All this I felt balanced out because I was getting good deals on the items that did work out. That is until recently. The FEES all of a sudden are insane. I purchased two items in San Antonio for $50 each. They charged me $70 in fees for $100 in items. I won't be looking to use loveseat ever again after this. No rhyme or reason to the fees either. The two items are small chairs 2 feet wide nothing oversized or heavy. $25 each handling fee. Bought two other items 40" wide IDENTICAL ITEMS handling fee on one $8.99 the other $20. Super disappointed, Austin location is closing this feels like a money grab on the way out. So disappointed.

Update now that they are scheduling appointments everything seems to work much better. They never responded to my previous review below which is disappointing, but oh well.January 2023; They've got no parking and have a line out the door over an hour long just standing in the sun on concrete. This is totally unacceptable to not have either enough staff or a simple clipboard to call people back. I'm sorry, this is just a sorry excuse for staffing and we'll never buy anything from here again.Multiple others shared the same thoughts while they waited in line.

Avoid. They sell you broken, damaged thing as “appears like new” condition and refuse to take it back.

Loveseat gouges customers on junk fees. The website let's you think you are getting a good price but oh boy, wait for the invoice. My $5 item had $14 of fees added that pushed the total over $20. A $10 service fee and $3.99 labor fee, for each item. Exactly what labor is needed?? Ridiculous way to operate and great way to lose customers tacking on multiple fees. Your bargain item will be more expensive than planned and they already have your money. Bargain shop elsewhere!

Used to be a fun place to get items at a bargain. Not anymore. I loved being able to purchase items, I wasn't quite sure if I liked the item or not.If you are looking for big ticket items, you still can find a bargain. Smaller around the home items, or the partial items...nope.They now have a minimum fee of 10 bucks...if the 20% auction fee is less then 10 bucks. I did not know that. Until after the fact.HOWEVER...now they have a $3.99 labor fee ON EVERY ITEM.I was in a rush and didn't catch the total for the first 2 items.I purchased 4 partial items, wanting pieces from each it.Three items were a $1.00, one item was $5.00.Spent a total of $8.00add 4 items x 3.99= 11.96add what I thought was 20% auction fee (1.60....But it wasn't)add $10.00 for the minimum fee.add the tax...1.49..The total of my $8.00 purchase was $35.45Loveseat used to be fun to get items from. Some items were about half the price in the store...ok..still a bargain. However, not anymore. This item is an example: (Exact item sells for $9.94 at Walmart)Hyper Tough 25Ft 16Awg 3 Prong White Single Outlet Outdoor Extension Cord...starts at auction for 5 bucks, buy it now for 7 bucks.Add an labor fee 3.99Add the minimum $10.00The item that sells at Walmart for $9.94...will cost ya $5.00 + 3.99 + 10.00=$18.99Or...if ya buy it now..at $7.00 + 3.99 = 10.99if minimum auction fee is added...makes it $20.99.I've recommended a ton of folks to Loveseat. Sadly, I won't do that anymore. It's a bummer, because I'd buy stuff to help out others get what they needed for their homes.
