I was specifically looking for a hair product and the Lovecraft staff was most helpful in assisting me. The boutique was adorable with many unusual and fun gifts. Prices were very reasonable.

such a fun shop. I visited Austin from New York for the Luck Reunion and got to spend some eating and shopping time with my daughter's, we all love this shop and everyone left with something special! I definitely recommend a visit to Lovecraft!

Really beautiful pieces of clothing and jewelry in a boho style. The women working are super kind and helpful. I really appreciated that the clothing sizes are "real woman" sizes including large and extra large not just small and extra small. They have a variety of smell good's - candles, creams, perfumes, linen sprays, etc. the jewelry is mostly gold and minimalist style- which I love - and not cheap quality. Their clothing seems to be a very high quality as they seem loyal to a few of their favorite brands. Rollos Jeans being a brand that I saw in the store. I also really appreciated the 50% off side walk sale on a Sunday. Thank you! Thank you!

Well if I could just pack up one shop and transport it back home with me it would be lovecraft. They carry such an amazing selection of local brands - I wanted one of everything!

Everyone that works at Lovecraft is very friendly and welcoming. The owner is a gem, who picks great items for the shop. Clothing, jewelry, accessories, art...a little of everything and I love seeing the new items she picks. Will keep coming back! Thank you!

One of my favorite boutiques in Austin. Every visit, I am greeted warmly and given advice on my purchases. The shop owner is so friendly and kind. This is the way all small, local shops should be! The shop also makes an effort to continuously feature new designers. I've learned about so many cool, ethical designers through this store. A true gem on East 11th Street.

Absolutely wonderful retail shop. They had so many gorgeous independent brands and a wide selection of clothing, jewelry, home goods and accessories.The store is located in a nice area walkable you quite a lot. The employee who helped me was very friendly.Just a great experience all around !

This review would be 5 stars if not for the strange appropriation at checkout. My friends and I visited the store with our dogs while waiting for a table at paperboy down the street. The staff loved our pups and immediately offered treats. A+. We'd just been on a morning hike so we looked only at the jewelry and pottery, but overall the store selection looked really nice. The staff was really helpful and friendly, esp when assisting with the jewelry case at the checkout counter. A+. We ended up getting some pieces, and while my items were boxed and bagged in the usual jewelry boxes and pouches, my friend's pieces were placed in a hong bao (红包), which are the red envelopes you see during lunar new year. lol wut. This was some weird appropriation. These envelopes are used during *specific* occasions, one of which is lunar new year. There was no cultural significance to them being used as the store used them, and it was confusing for us to receive the items that way. Honestly, the impeccable service is what's keeping this review as high as it is. If we'd received lackluster service, this review would be 2 or 3 stars because the appropriation on top of the meh service would be like adding insult to injury. We hope the store will do better and not use red envelopes insignificantly.
