Sophia, the assistant manager was absolutely fantastic. I rented a unit from her today and I couldn’t give a better example of quality customer service, and what seemed to me, a commitment to excellence. She was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to walk me through the process of renting a unit; she also seemed genuinely interested in and committed to her job.

Our move into our storage space at Life Storage was a breeze. The staff was super friendly and James even came and said hello and greet us in person. The space was clean and the service is much improved with the new management. I recommend this storage space

Under new management and things have turned around here. Sophia was very courteous and helpful in getting us into a smaller unit to save some money.

Writing this review at the end of October 2023- I didn't have any issues with this location when I started renting a unity earlier in the year. After the ExtraSpace merger, though, it seems like things have leveled up. The new manager, James, is highly effective and great with customers. He's a great communicator and made sure to answer all my questions.

Clean facility that’s well-lit, has wide hallways, and carts are available for easy movement of your stuff. Friendly, prompt, and helpful service from the manager, James. Overall a great value and a fantastic experience!

Sophia is a gem. She took care of my special request within like 15 minutes and chatted me up while I waited for carts to finish my move out. Stark difference from when I first moved in.

I rented 2 unit a month ago. My 1st encounter with the worker outside in the parking lot was weird. He arrived early and chain smoked. He approached my car at 9:35am and informed me that he would open the store when I moved my car so that he could park in that space. Thank God I moved. On July 29, 2023, I was moving things into my storage when the employee turned into the parking lot in 2 wheels. He got out of his car aggressively walking fast and talking to himself. He walked over to the car that was parked in his space. The lady was on the phone with customer service because he was yet again late. He informed the lady that he would open the store when she moved her car. When she asked why she had to move her car, he said, you don't have to move your car, I will just go home. He walked to his car sped off and turned onto Airport Blvd on 2 wheels. People were pulling up needing to access the closed office. I told them that the worker had a meltdown over a parking space and left. They all agreed that he seemed strange. Now you have a new employee who can't address issues, and spends more time walking the property than in the office. He left the office and got on the elevator when he told me that it was nothing he could do about the situation. I never saw him again. People were coming to the closed office for help. I was in my car preparing to leave at 6:20pm when a female came to the office trying to get in. She was wearing a Life Storage shirt. The worker had been gone for quite some time. Y'all need to get some real employees over there who come every day on time, close on time and actually have some customer service skills.

I have been waiting to write this review until my friend moved their stuff out of their unit. A few months ago, I travelled from out of town to pick up a few things from my friends storage unit. I encountered some issues with the key I was given by my friend and went downstairs to seek some assistance. Dalton, the employee present at the time, had to have been the most unhelpful, disrespectful, impatient, stubborn, and rude customer service employee I have EVER encountered. He lacked nearly every quality needed to work a customer service job. Not only did he fail to act with any remote sense of kindness and respect, but he also refused to find an alternative solution when certain paperwork he needed from me was not updating on his side. It was evident the computer was down (1+ hour for my paperwork to update) and yet he never tried to find a different way to expedite the process. Rather, he sat at his desk and pouted because he was clearly annoyed by my asking if my paperwork had updated every 10 minutes. A qualified employee would have kept me updated, communicated with me, sought out help from another worker and/or manager, and tried to find an alternate solution.Poor guy took 6 smoke breaks over the course of 1 hour. He would go outside, stomp around, talk to himself, and mutter under his breath when he walked back inside.Do not be fooled by the 5 star reviews for this facility. Majority of them (especially if they name drop Dalton) are because he bribes you into leaving him a 5 star review for a discount, something he attempted with me. Nice try.Upon asking to use the restroom, Dalton told me that the restroom is “not open to the public.” I inquired a bit more because I didn’t consider myself “the public” and he said that it was closed because the last person that had used it had “smeared human feces along the walls.” Ummmm…what? This place is disgusting.Overall, I was extremely dissatisfied with my experience at this facility. I cannot imagine what other people have experienced that come here more frequently. I was just a one day visitor. Definitely my last time too.I told my friend to get her things out of there as soon as possible and move it to another facility. I have had positive experiences at CubeSmart on 5th St. They have much better employees, is cleaner, doesn’t smell like cigarette smoke, and plenty of carts you can use.

I rented a unit online, paid for a lock, my husband loaded up our SUV, and we headed over just to find out there was no one in the office. A sign was placed on the door stating they were closed due to being short staffed. I called the 1-800 number and the woman had me walk around looking for a lock to take off another unit, floor after floor. I have stage lll breast cancer and receive weekly chemo treatments. I was out of breath and in no shape to be walking around like that. Unable to locate a lock, she puts me on hold. She comes back on the line to tell me I had to drive to another location to get a key. We drive to the locate, return to the storage unit just to realize they had no charts or anything to help take our things to the 3rd floor. This was just a horrible experience.

Nice enough storage facility. After about 6 months, our rent increased by ~35% with one month's notice. I can understand the need to do rent increases, but it should be capped at a lower percentage.

My experience has been terrible. Upon checkout after 2 years of staying there, the untrained staff at this location has decided to not follow their standard processes and bill me for an additional month. After leaving 5 voicemail messages, and getting no response back in over 3 weeks I’ve received a letter that my account would be sent to the bill collector from a noreply email address.I would suggest you store your things elsewhere.

Dalton was great! He walked me through the different units and explain the payment/rental agreements very thoroughly. I highly recommend life storage.

This location has been nothing but helpful and has helped me resolve issues. Dalton especially has been nothing but courteous and helpful. I would highly recommend!
