I'm not going to bash the business. They actually do a good job of setting you up for an appointment. You won't be able to do it online, so just give them a call. With that in mind, it's not as easy/seamless as it should be if you're looking for a quick oil change. What actually pushed me away from doing business with them is the customer service is pretty crappy. I get it, you don't like having to put me down for Wednesday at 8am because your appointment system is absolute garbage, but don't take it out on me. I don't want to deal with your bad attitude. So instead of dealing with people who don't appreciate my money, I took it down to a drive-in Jiffy Lube. I was in and out in 10-15 minutes. The staff was personable as well. Lambs is clearly a staple here in Austin, but poor customer service ruined it for me. Management may want to change its tune a bit. Just sayin'

Called to make an appointment for an oil change/general check-up on my car, service was quick and easy to get. The man at the front desk printed my whole car history and was transparent about the status of my car, which I very much appreciated. I highly recommend this spot!

I told the technician not to throw away the old tire so I could go back to Firestone and make a road hazard claim to get my more expensive tire replaced using road hazard, and then I would have a full size spare. It was in the paperwork that Lamb's gave me. Then they threw away the tire anyhow and lied to my face about it.

Andrew Moss was great to work with. He was knowledgeable, communicative, and also has a great personality! That might not be a pro for some people but it is nice to see someone having fun at work and not so stiff. I don’t drive much and am terrible about car maintenance schedules. He didn’t shame me for that just helped me understand the importance of why those are good (and necessary). Andrew made sure I got the exact work I needed (two new tires and an alignment) and I will be returning soon to get two additional tires. When I came to pick up my car Rob helped explain exactly what they are looking for when they are working to align everything (which also made since about why my car was struggling). I believe the price was fair and honest and the results are a smooth driving car. Truly a great experience and it makes sense why the N Lamar location came highly recommended from neighbors.

Rob was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. In and out with new set of tires in about 2 hours after having tires sent over from another location same day. Great shop!

Andrew and team were great! I didn’t have an appointment but they checked me in quickly and got my tired patched quickly. The waiting area was well ait conditioned and clean so that’s also a plus!

The guys at the front desk were down-to-earth, friendly, professional and helpful! The service was relatively quick with how busy they were. My only complaint, if I’m being nit picky, would be the parking lot is a bit cramped/awkward. But, what’re going to do? It’s probably Austin’s ungodly high priced properties.

I took my car in for an alignment and I received fast and efficient service. They did a great job!! Dallas at the service desk was really helpful. He gave me frequent updates on my vehicle while it was being serviced. He also helped me schedule an appointment for an oil change and shared specific details that pertained to my Infiniti Q60 that I was unaware of. I had a wonderful experience during this service on my vehicle. I would recommend this location based on my most recent experience.

I cannot speak highly enough of Rob and the mechanics at Lamb’s. They offer fair prices and operate with skill and integrity. I had a terrible experience at the Toyota dealership and another mechanic trying to get two oxygen sensors replaced. Rob was empathic to the situation and kept me in the loop throughout the repairs, even showing me the parts and explaining our different options. I never felt pressured or like I was getting taken advantage of, something other shops tend to do with young adult women like myself. Great customer service like this goes a long way! I will certainly be back for any future repairs and maintenance.

This place is great for oil changes and basic tire related stuff, but I would recommend going elsewhere for mechanical issues. They charge more for both parts and labor than other reputable shops in town. Customer service at lamb's is great, turnaround times are quick, so I'll continue coming there for oil changes and basic stuff.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! Andrew was AWESOME and even though it was crazy busy, he worked me in to get seen in no time for a tire repair. Jesus was the tech and he did an amazing job. Lamb’s has me as a customer for life because of Andrew!!

They were very clear that they were very busy and gave me a most likely timeline of when my car would be ready. They were courteous and upbeat despite this horrible heatwave. My car was ready ahead of schedule and awesome, thank you for everything!

I’ve had a fairly low tire for the past year and just got it together to fix it this morning right before a big road trip. Greg was super nice and squeezed me in and replaced on my tires. Very happy with my experience today! Will be definitely coming back.

I’ve gone to Lamb’s on three separate occasions now (for a flat tire, an oil change, and a battery replacement). They are extremely friendly and transparent with pricing and provide regular updates as well as being very reachable at all hours. Will definitely be returning for all future car troubles!

My Dad got 4 new tires on his Honda CRV today and was very happy. Here's what he said. "I was impressed with the friendly welcome from Rob at the front desk at Lamb's Tire and Auto on N. Lamar. I was pleased with the checkout and the fact that Lamb's didn't try to sell me a brake job I didn't need. The new tires look good and the ride is nice. This is an honest A+ business. I'll go back for any other auto repair issues."
