I was going to leave a 5 star review. They got me in and out very quickly. But on the receipt I see they charged me a tire protection fee which I never asked for and the size of the tire is also different than what I asked for.

BEWARE Do not go here. A week ago I brought my car into the west slaughter lane location for a inspection and alignment. When I called before hand they said I could drop it off and would get to it when they could. That was at around 9am. At 4pm I received a call from lambs not to say the car was ready but that my entire steering rack was shot and leaking thus preventing the alignment from being dialed in. Before I could question the situation the representative started telling me how fast they could get the rack in and how theres financing available. The thing is I have a great mechanic that specializes in boxer engines and I had my guy run thru everything in the car to pass the inspection. Knowing this I declined and was told to wait for the call to come get the car. The other thing I found disturbing is my car sat untouched from 930am to 355pm. I know this from my alarm tracking how many times my ignition is activated or the car is actually started or moved. So that estimate call was 10 minutes after the car was turned on at 355pm. It makes me wonder did they even look at my steering rack? I get a call an hour later to tell me my car is ready to go. I then make an appointment to see my mechanic on the way home for the following week. I just got back from my mechanic and we lifted up the car. The rack is completely fine with zero leaks. This is the reason you can't trust just 1 shop and get a second opinion. In my eyes this is outright fraud and no matter how nice your staff is there is no excuse to make false claims that could end up costing your customers over 1000 dollars on a useless repair. My problem is I purchased a 3 year unlimited alignment and now I need to go to another lambs location thats further to get it done. When they're thru aligning I then need to check to see if they even did their job. This Lambs has lost my trust.
Edit: After I contacted their customer support email that was commented below was 1 call was made to me that went to voice mail. They never tried again and really shows what they are about there..

Went to get car inspection. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Will use for other services. Inspection didn't take that long. Will definitely go back.

Our experience with Lambs Automotive was excellent. Everything was explained they gave me a time-line and also gave us a ride home and picked us up when they completed the work. Everyone was very nice and helpful. Would highly recommend them for service. ?%??

Excellent and prompt service. Today we got a flat tire on our way back to San Antonio and stopped by this state of the art automotive service. Mike took care of us and in 2 hours, my son and I were back on our way home with a new tire.
I strongly recommend them.

I went to Lambs tire and auto today for a conventional oil change for the first time. Where I have always taken my suv now only does synthetic oil changes. I was also able to use the 1/2 off coupon from their website. It was a good experience. They also put on a new air filter. I would recommend them.

My first time there today, for an inspection. Really friendly staff and a fast inspection without an appointment.
Always a good sign when every customer in the waiting room had only 5-star comments! I’m going back if I need service.
