Judo - it's the art of folding clothes perfectly... ...while the people are still in them. This is a great opportunity for you and your kids. I have been bringing my daughter here and she has learned a lot and enjoys every single session. I now have started my second daughter and again so much fun for her especially with this being new for her in the grappling arts. The instructors are very patient and that is the biggest thing, you want to be in a place where they actually care about the growth of your child and your child having fun. Almost every time that they have a kids class they even play a game for them so I really like the commitment to fun.

I would like to know if they also train juniors. I am 23 years old and I have some experience in this martial art. I trained judo in my country since I was 8 years old, but I had to stop when I was 15. If you could give me more information, I would appreciate it. Greetings to all.

Yesterday, I went to my first class at Kokoro Judo Club. It was a very relaxed atmosphere, there were was a wide range of skill levels amongst the judo practitioners there, and everyone with whom I interacted was very welcoming to me. I highly suggest checking out this club if you have an interest in judo, whether you are a total beginner or have prior experience.

They have the nerve to insist that you get an experimental mRNA just to train with them. Will not support their insanity

I have a 6 and 7yr old boys and they love to ruff house. I needed something that lets them get the energy out in a safe way. Judo is perfect for that and it also will help them out in life (anti-bully). We have been coming here for a month (July) and man they love it so much! The instructor Glenn is really good with kids and has tons of patience plus the affordable prices here make it perfect! I highly recommend this place! Only down side for the kids class is its only 1 dayba week but my sons forward to that day of the week. The kids class is an all belts and age class but they always play safe and all the kids have fun. The older kids are very well mannered and they train well with the younger kids so they wont discourage them. Glenn teaches good sportsmanship, respect, and care for others. I will be bringing my kids every month!

I started showing up back at their old location years ago, with nothing but a white belt in BJJ. Many blackbelts invested a lot of time into me since then. The generosity and honesty here is unmatched. This isn't about money, like almost everything in the modern world. This is just people meeting up to share their passion and have fun. It just happens to be that we have some very skilled instructors as well–as a team, we now regularly medal strongly when we travel to San Antonio, College Station, Dallas, or Houston. I have been to many martial arts gyms in BJJ (in which I am now a brown belt) and Judo (in which I am now a black belt) around the world, but I am particularly honored to be a part of this one.

Kokoro is an amazing club. Glenn Macias truly embodies the spirit of judo -- strengthening body, mind and spirit through respect for self and others. He makes judo fun for kids, playing games and never losing his cool. With the adults he has a definite teaching plan for each workout and makes every minute count. He is endlessly patient and his absolute love for the sport shines through. I highly recommend this club for kids and adults alike!

Great community with a core of committed, hard-working Judoka. Exactly what I was looking for after nearly 20 years off of the mat.
