Excellent Service done right. Great work to the service team. Don't try and screw you over that I have experienced and give you the "must haves" and "nice to haves" in terms of what needs to be repaired versus what we be nice to have repaired.
Dan and Tom up front are excellent guys that do their absolute best to work you with, treat you (the customer) with utmost respect and are honest genuine guys!

If you value your time, go somewhere else. They won't take appointments, and the "first come, first served" process they claim to use is a lie. I've been first in line many, many times to just have them waste my time and push me to the back of the line. They will do whatever work has the highest profit first, and make everyone else wait. They are in my neighborhood and I try to support local business, but I'm finished. I've spent thousands at this place and I still get treated poorly every time I go there. Some of the staff is nice, but there are a couple customer facing reps that are arrogant, discourteous and unapologetic. My experience today will be my second to last time in this shop. I unfortunately ordered $1600 of tires from this place that I still need to get installed. If they can trouble themselves to put them on at some point, that will be the absolute last time I go into this place. I should’ve learned my lesson when the water pump they installed failed right after the 1 year warranty due to cheap parts used and they tried to tell me that they normally only last that long. Once again, they were rude and unapologetic. If I want to get treated like crap, I can just stay home and let my wife do that. I'm sure as hell not going to pay Klingemann to do it.

Just completed 2 annual motor vehicle inspections. Cookie cutter inspections - in & out in short order. What I'd really like to comment on is Dan's unique customer service skills. I am an old man and have lived and traveled all over the U.S. Dan's abilities far surpass 99% of the customer service we receive across all industries. He's polite, attentive and intelligent. We just retired from a business we sold after 33 years. I would hire Dan for any business I owned or managed.

I took my son's vehicle to Klingemann's on Hwy. 290 a couple weeks ago. Tom and everyone else that I dealt with were very nice and helpful. They found the issue and texted a document that explained it as well as the cost to repair, broken down into parts/cost and labor cost. It also had a list of some other issues and notes about whether or not they were urgent. We gave the okay to do the repair and they fixed the issue. It went exactly as one would hope. My experience there was excellent and I would highly recommend them.

Adjusting my review here a bit as I have had a mix of good and frustrating/inconsistent experiences with Klingemann.
The frustrating/inconsistent:
They once chided me for claiming my AC stopped working 10mi after bringing my car in to get my alternator replaced, along with a full inspection. The front desk guy told me the AC had passed inspection and - with a massive eye roll - "perhaps a lemony snicket series of unfortunate events" might have occurred (in the 10 miles of driving between when I picked my car up) and it would be an extra $100 inspection charge to even look at it. I had just paid for a full $100 inspection.
Later, they admitted they did the inspection before replacing the alternator, and disconnected the AC when replacing the alternator and forgot to reconnect it. Not sure how they even performed a comprehensive inspection on a car with a broken alternator, but to their credit: they fixed it free of charge and did NOT charge an extra $100 for a separate inspection.
I asked about a state inspection during a visit to get my O2 sensors replaced to address a CEL light. After getting that fixed, I was told by Klingemann Person 1 the remaining CEL code was cosmetic and to just come in when my registration was about to expire and it would be an easy pass. When I came in 1mo later, it was a different person, Person 2, who refused to refused to pass me on the CEL and tried to charge me $700 for a new EVAP cannister. When I said they themselves already diagnosed the issue and it wasn't the cannister, it was cosmetic, he says "Well I'd have to charge $100 inspection fee to confirm that and we're booking 3 weeks out". I didn't have 3 weeks to wait, and I didn't need to again spend $100 to re-confirm what a different person from their very own shop had already confirmed on my initial inspection.
So I took the car to the dealership, K-mann Person 1 was correct: it was cosmetic and I got the gas cap replaced, and got a pass on a state inspection which contrary to what K-mann Person 2 said, I was able to pass, despite clearing the CEL. Haven't seen the CEL since. Glad I didn't listen to K-mann Person 2, and unnecessarily have them replace the EVAP cannister and spend $700 which would still not even have cleared the CEL code or passed state inspection, yikes!
The good:
On everything else, they have done very good work, especially the strut repair on my vehicle. And they did right by me on the AC when they made a mistake. They also have a really great balance and rotate system and a good alignment machine and reasonable rates on these services & oil change etc.
I also bought a set of tires from them when I got the O2 sensors replaced. A few months later, the O2 sensors they installed correctly indicated a slow leak. And true to their word, they did not charge me a dime to repair a leak in the tire.
So I do trust Klingemann on certain things, especially oil, tire, and anything drivetrain related. But I will go elsewhere for a state inspection, and will definitely be sure to double check anything they say that would cost over $1000 and just google around and maybe get a 2nd opinion.

Went here today for a state inspection. It was my first experience with Klingemann Car Care and Dan at the front desk received me and made sure that my car was inspected promptly. In fact, I was in and out before most other car shops even opened for the day! I will definitely come back. Thanks for the great service, Dan!
