November 2025 by Laura
I’ve shopped at Kid2Kid for years and actually want to support secondhand. I also spent nearly 20 years managing retail, so I understand the chaos of inventory, staffing, sick calls, and customers who think hangers magically move themselves. I know what “we’re short staffed but we’re trying” looks like.
This location isn’t that.
This is “we gave up a long time ago.”
The merchandise is rough. Dirty shoes, mud on soles, clothes that are worn to the point of retirement. Not just gently used. I mean “these lived a long emotional life and saw things.” I shouldn’t feel like I’m digging through someone’s cousin’s garage sale to find one clean item. Other Kid2Kid stores manage to curate, clean, and price fairly. So I know it can be done.
Then there’s the shopping experience. There are no kid-friendly carts to keep little ones contained. You’re given these tired, ancient store strollers that look like they’ve survived a zombie apocalypse. I would honestly put my toddler in a cardboard box before I’d use one of them. Germ city doesn’t even begin to cover it.
The moment that really did it for me was watching staff turn families away from the bathroom. A children’s resale store. That won’t let parents or kids use the restroom. Nothing says “we don’t actually care about families” louder than that. I’ve had to clean bathrooms after football-team field trips and post-Black Friday chaos. It’s part of the job. Not a reason to turn customers away.
I’m not asking for perfection. I’m asking for basic pride, basic cleanliness, and basic respect for the people who literally keep the lights on. I left this location wondering how the team clocks out at night thinking, “Yep, we did a good job today.”

I found exactly what I was looking for at the right price for my two-year-old! Kid to Kid has great quality items, fair prices, and a nice selection. I’ll definitely be coming back!

went around 6:30pm because I work all day and wanted to take my wife to look at some cool baby items we were recomended by a family member and wanted to check them out and when I got there the people closed the store 30 minutes early?!!!! that's insane I get maybe 10 minutes but 30 minutes is unacceptable, so I finally get the ladies to talk to me and they were super rude and she was telling me shes been working 14 days straight ! okay me too but don't have your sign up saying closes at 7pm if your gonna close early because your tired like this is unacceptable and she needs to get in trouble or fired because I'm sure I'm not the only one she was extreamly rude to and if this is how you run a store then I want everyone to know about it so they don't come here

Wished it had some older kid stuff. Up to about size 14 is the cutoff. But has plenty of good deals for younger kids items. Very well organized and taken care of. Many places even retail stores often have a mess.

Place is a waste of time!
Have to pay to donate, ok
Then they wouldn’t expect anything even if 90% of our things are brand new
If your going to donate please look up a reputable establishment or donation center
Go to goodwill if you have to.
