They are only interested in getting your money up front, they promise everything and make a silly little video of your business, then once you pay the up front $18,000 you never really hear from them again. If you go to search as if you're buying a business you don't find anything that they claim to do. They did nothing for me except take my money. Save yourself the trouble here and go elsewhere.

First impression: UnreliableInterviewed with a recruiter for ibex. They rescheduled three times before the interview, and again they rescheduled for the next day through text messages 45 minutes after the interview was supposed to begin.Unreliable..The next day they were late only 5 minutes however the interviewer started the video call while still on a cell phone call and had me wait again. The interview did not start until about 15 minutes after its scheduled time.Trash..I then had a very unprofessional, disorganized, rude interview. They were even condescending about how I should try not to waste people's time.Unprofessional..They have no other channels to reach out and I don't feel the phone number I have has reliable people behind it.If they can't be reliable with their own image imagine what they'll do with yours. IBEX just closed the Sale of our Business (10/1/22), and we could not be happier. This is the SECOND business sold with IXEX assistance. The experience working with International Business Exchange to sale our software /MSP /MSSP business far exceeded anything I expected or realized I would need. Even though I have run a business since 1994 I had no idea what was ahead of me. The company that purchased later mentioned to me how impressed they were with Mr. Harvey and they do acquisitions all the time.To start with IBE took the time to understand my business, my desires, and who I believed are ideal partners. They walked me through putting together a professional video describing my company and desires. They brought a large list of potential buyers to the table but instead of spending my time with each of them they were able to meet with them and slim the candidates down to the ones that aligned with my objective. This alone saved me a tremendous amount of time.I cannot over-emphasize the value of the experience IBEX brought to the table. I had top attorneys and accountants working with me throughout the process, but no one provided the constant mentoring, negotiated on my behalf, and helped me understand both the process and what I should expect as IBEX did. They do not replace attorneys and accountants but their knowledge and experience of financials and business acquisition is what provided the biggest assistance in maneuvering through this process. As a result, it minimized the time I needed from these expensive resource.The bottom line is that I had never been through this process before and had no idea what I was in store for. Not only did they bring the right partners to the table they guided me through the entire process. I do not think I could have been successful without their expertise. I have been purchased and part of an organization that aligns with my objectives thanks to Mr. Harvey and his organization. Of the intermediaries I have dealt with during my search, I found them to be the most unprofessional (both in terms of their responsiveness and their manner of communication). Intermediaries are supposed to facilitate deals; not obstruct them--and they should represent their clients with professionalism at all times. It shouldn't take several days to hear back from them about simple items--no matter who you are. And when they do respond, they should be expected to write proofread, respectful emails rather than flippant retorts that are fired off from their phone. I pity their clients who think they are making an effort, because in my limited dealings with them it appears they are just looking for easy commissions. I'll admit it is a small sample size and this is just one person's opinion, but whether you are a buyer or a seller I am fairly confident you can find a better value proposition elsewhere.

Getting a deal done through normal circumstances can be challenging. Getting a deal done through COVID was far more difficult!!! Mike Miller and Jeff Elder were assigned to my deal and they were incredibly helpful getting it across the goal line. I'm grateful for the hands on approach at IBEX. I listed my business with International Business Exchange in September 2016 and they found a buyer and completed the purchase by May 2017. I am very pleased with the professional manner in which they treated me and represented my business. Russ guided me through the entire process and I would highly recommend IBEX to anyone seeking to sell their business. 5 Stars!
