This piece of work is threatening me because I am refusing to pay him $848 for not providing any type of service and is also threatening legal action for writing a bad review. Do not do business here, this is a total scam!

This company is a scam and does not provide realistic tax prep services. They tried to charge over $800 to give me bad tax information which I had to call the IRS myself to deal with and also wanted me to do all of the tax return work for them to only submit it to the IRS. Beware- these guys are nothing short of scam artist. You'd be better off with a Nigerian prince doing your taxes.

Wouldn't recommend Iain as a CPA. I took a 20 minute call with him to see if he'd be a good fit for my taxes as a recommendation from a friend. Didn't fit my needs and I figured our work was done. After no follow-up or needs from me, 5 months later he sent me a surprise invoice for his "time". Never was this mentioned throughout our time together on the call and never would I have agreed to it. Unfortunate...

Although Iain and David are great at their job as a CPA they do not bring anything to the table as far as suggestions on tax savings, nor do they like to deviate from any "outside the box or professions" that they are not knowledgeable on. In the 2 years that I used them I was tasked with doing 90% of the work and they still charged me well over $1k each year for a single owned business with a W2 spouse plus 2 children... Nothing too difficult for them but my rate went up each year and I was billed for every text msg exchange of $35.These text messages were nothing more than arguing items that I have written off in the past and that are very legal to do so yet I was told "no." Even when I decided that our conversation was over and said so, Iain texted me again (which he billed me for). My financial advisors (who originally recommended them) have told me they are no longer supporting them as a client resource, to leave them and look for another CPA -(in my words; simply because they were too incompetent to learn the complexities of my job and what is legal to claim on my taxes).If you have a benign job that is not in the field of the arts then you are in the best conservative hands but if you are not then do not expect either of the two to do any research, bring anything to the table to help out or to lend a hand. I cannot say that they are horrible CPA's but I can say they cost me more money that ever on my taxes in 25 years and they were not a fit for me looking for expertise in an area of tax reporting they had no business taking on.Today I got another invoice from them for another $35 due to a text I sent back in Nov but only invoiced me when I told them that I was no longer interested in using them. Pretty low blow in my opinion

I own a Carpet & Tile Cleaning business that started things very.. unorthodox. On top of that, I learned how to use quick-books with google and did the books myself for my entire first year. Needless to say, i needed alot of help making sure everything was done correctly, and fixing the things that were not done correctly. IAIN was amazingly thorough and answered 80% of my questions just with his initial summary of my account. He knew things and was able to help with matters that the lawyer who helped with my incorporation did not even know (and fix things my lawyer did wrong). Iain listens, is knowledgeable, patient, thorough, and most importantly, makes me feel confident that i am not going to have any issues with the IRS for the rest of my life. Thanks so much Iain! I look foreword to a very long business relationship!

I will be the first to say, I started a dog daycare and boarding business and things got... messy. A previous CPA misfiled Tax returns and I spent almost a year cleaning up the mess my business partner made. I came to Iain with a mess during the busiest tax season and he was calm and collected and handled everything efficiently. He has been the most responsive CPA I have come across, answers emails immediately, does exactly what he says he will do and gave me peace of mind that everything is going to be just fine. I am so thankful that he was willing to take me on, and I 100% trust him to untangle my mess and help me set up a great system moving forward! After 2 years of business , I finally feel like I am on track!

I spoke with Ian and he made it clear that he was not interested in getting my business. Not that he couldn't help me but that it wasn't a priority. I asked him to tell me a bit about what kind of services he was able to do to assist people in my scenario (after he said it was something that they could assist with), to which he rebuttaled with "maybe we aren't a good fit" and hung up. Class act right there.

I started a cryptocurrency investment fund two years ago and needed a CPA who understood the nuances of our industry in addition to being a competent accountant. Iain has proved himself to be exemplary on both fronts - he's helped my business file its taxes two years now with no issue, and he's consistently able to answer even some of my more complex crypto questions. Could not recommend him more highly!
