A FRAUD!
We paid $190 dollars to process the ITIN and the tax return. We decided to do this because there were no appointments at the IRS and we didn't want to send my passport, so we decided to pay to have a certified accountant make it "easier." A couple of days ago we received a letter rejecting the ITIN process because the accountant was not certified.
We went to the office and the accountant told us THEIR PERMITS WERE NOT RENEWED. In other words, they charged us for a service that they currently cannot do due to lack of certification, the justification was that it was an IRS problem, that they did not know if it would be ready perhaps at the end of June but the letter we received said that we had until on July 1 to respond. The same person told us that she was going on vacation and returning in September, so if she did not receive the renewal of her certifications we would have to do the process again from scratch and that would obviously delay the tax refund for more months. He recommended we go directly to the IRS. This is unacceptable, it is a lack of professional ethics, waste of money and time. don't go here

They sell us a Service who doesn’t work because the person who process us the ITIN number doesn’t have a current license for do that and It is not recognized as certified by the IRS. Obviously, H&R Block know that and instead of telling us the Service is not available they prefer lie to us for a 100 dollar process worthless. After the process of ITIN was rejected 7 weeks after for nothing, Obviously for the lack of license of This person, We went to IRS they process us the ITIN number for free But we had to do everything from zero. Not recommended, we lost 100 dollar for nothing. I hope some one Can get in touch with me from H&R block and refund me my money back.

H&R Block has prepared my taxes past three years now and it's been a job well done. They have very good and knowledgeable staff to handle my tax. Feels really comfortable to get your tax done by professionals, gives you peace of mind. And the transition to a new tax preparer this time around was smooth. A great team of professionals put together. Congratulations to the management for putting together these experienced professionals.

Ask for Tonya! She was knowledgeable,considering our unique tax position, and really helped us out. We will see you next year!
Edit: I had originally left a five-star review (see above) praising Tanya for her help, but after referring my parents to her and the way they were subsequently treated, I'm going to have to remove All Stars but one seeing as I can't give it a zero star review. I had referred my parents to Tanya, even made them the appointment(with her specifically), only for them to show up and be told that she will only honor her appointments if their staff is overbooked. Then they were put with another " tax preparer" who proceeded to tell them that he was not there to do their taxes for them, only to help them with their taxes (what the hell are we paying you over $500 for if not to DO them)and because their preparation would take too long and they were told to come back almost a week later, also threatening them that they cannot go to another tax office to get their taxes done bc he had already started their prep. He also told them that it was their own fault for waiting till the last minute to get their taxes done and continued to brag about his other job as an accountant being far more lucrative(even though no one was asking him about it). There is no excuse for how this staff has treated my parents(it honestly feels racial at this point) and in contrast to my original review, I will not be coming back next year. Way to ruin any Goodwill that you had generated with us.

We really liked H&R Block. All employees are very competent and responsive. Specialists Monika and Guzel were very helpful in preparing the necessary documents and scheduling meetings and are excellent specialists. Special thanks to the professional Mrs. Zevallos. She helped us a lot during registration. And every time when we appeled her, she patiently listened to us and explained all the details. It was a pleasure to work with her. H&R Block employs specialists who know their stuff.

I came in today to figure out some tax mistakes I had and was not well taken care of Lourdes Cabellos, she was incredibly rude, belittling, and snobby. She talk to me like an absolute child and when I called their customer service line I was soon called back by a rep (unfortunately i forgot her name) who insisted it was the language gap and when I specifically told her it was her demeanor and the way she spoke to me, the rep then made sure I knew that the rep knew Lourdes very personally and then continued to make excuses for her and how she is as a person. It does not matter how she is beyond that it matters how I was treated. I paid someone to belittle me and make me feel DUMB because I came to ask for help. The customer service representative made excuses and gaslit my experience. If this is the companies goal then they definitely exceeded it.
