DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM! They cancelled our reservation as we were landing in Austin and left us stranded during Formula 1 weekend. They provided no explanation, but I’m sure they gave them room to someone who was willing to pay more. Since everything was booked that weekend, we ended up getting a room at a sketchy Motel 6 and then renting an Airbnb 1 hour away from downtown Austin. If I could give them negative 574267482 stars I would.

Booked a reservation online weeks in advance, arrive and nothing is found (itinerary #, phone #, you name it) didn’t work. Meanwhile this girl is on the phone with her baby daddy.
I step out to my car for a minute, come back door is locked, I rang the bell, waited, saw a black man who said he was not management and that the girl would be back. I’m then waiting again, go back to my car, see the same man pass by, ask him if he could contact the manager, he said he didn’t he handle that. We make it back to the office and he points to the girl at a car saying that’s the office, I said no the office is right here where the girl should be but she’s to busy talking to her baby daddy.
She then begins to walk back, I ask her to contact the manager, she says he’s off. I said of course he is.
I walked back to my car and had to search for a new room for my family’s trip.
I highly don’t recommend and these people need better management.

Cancelled our reservation without notice. Good thing we booked through Expedia. Girl at the front desk was very nasty and said that our room was given to someone who had money right then.

The worst experience of my life, the hotel is completely dirty, both outside in the parking lot and inside, the stairs to go up to the second floor, it is dirty from dogs and from people who relieve themselves there, the cans full of garbage, and they rent the rooms for long stays and it seems that whoever they rent to is homeless, you can't get to your room with a suitcase, those who rent have a grocery cart outside and dogs in a cage, deplorable, there is no privacy, people fight in the hallway, they smoke marijuana and take drugs, they knock on your room doors, it is extremely unsafe, I couldn't sleep for a minute, the bathroom in the room is dirty, the towels are stained, broken facilities, I really don't know how they can continue offering that place, the photos do not match the facilities. If you check all the opinions they are bad, it was the only thing I found and I never saw them, I stayed the night of October 19 to 20. Unfortunately I arrived late and left early and I was even afraid to take photos, there were people outside all the time. The worst hotel I have ever been to and if you want to talk directly the phones they point out don't answer. I really hope they check that hotel, the terrible conditions in everything and not recommended at all, much less with family due to insecurity.
Rooms: They are dirty and smell very bad, everything is generally dirty, towels are stained, and the bathroom is broken and moldy.
Safety: Total insecurity, many people fighting and taking drugs, outside the rooms
Walkability: No, it's so unsafe and people are drinking alcohol in the parking lot and there's a lot of dog mess.

Worst hotel I've ever been to. Pretty unkept, rust all over the stove, air vents, shower fan, etc.
The laminated floor needs deep cleaning...feels sticky to walk on and if you walk barefoot, your feet turn black...lots of dirt! Bugs all over...stairs are dirty, horrible smell. The entrance door is hard to open due to being too old. Mold on the bathroom's ceiling.

Sugar ants in bathroom, its suppose to be no smoking but smells like weed in walkway, infront of office, in hallway, elevator, and in room. Used 2 cans of Lysol, however, smell lingers. Photos used for booking are a lie. It appears it is budget friendly for long term residential use and not short term stay. Could explain smoke smell and dark dingy dirty, unkempt hall and walkway. Don't feel safe. Elevator is dirty, dingy, and gross. Went to Walmart to buy new sheets and pillows. Hubby booked it and he doesn't even want to shower here. It has bed bugs!!! Husband had bites.
Rooms: Old, unkempt, smells like weed, curtin stains, stains on walls, ants in bathroom, other unknown bugs. Feels dirty. BED BUGS

If there were 0 stars, I would choose that option. The hotel overbooked and did not guarantee our already prepaid 2-night stay. They left us stranded being from out of town. Highly, highly DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! The staff was not polite, and we did not feel welcome nor comfortable in the front office. There were other people that appeared to be friends with the front desk associate just standing there chatting with them during the non-existent check-in process. Book with them at your own risk if you still decide to.

Staying at HomeTowne Studios Austin was a nightmare. The room was dirty—stained bedding, sticky floors, and a kitchen that’s basically useless without any utensils. The whole place felt rundown, with broken fixtures and zero upkeep. But the worst part? The cockroaches. And I’m not talking about the occasional one—I'm talking about small German cockroaches everywhere. I killed at least 15 during my stay, and it still felt like they were winning.
On top of that, the key cards barely worked. I had to go back to the reception multiple times just to get them reprogrammed. And to even get to my room, I had to walk through a hallway filled with weirdos that made the whole experience even worse.
Honestly, I’m never coming back here. This place is beyond saving—it should just be torn down. Save yourself the trouble and book somewhere else.

The NASTIEST hotel I have ever stayed in. Booked through Priceline, BEWARE, they advertise using different photos. When we arrived there was a red substance all over the bathroom vanity and mirror, used boxers, and no pillows. We went to the front desk to get a new room or at least have it cleaned. Nothing. No help at all.

This is by far the most nasty place to stay. The room looks dirty and dingy. Floor sticky and needed to be swept again. The bed comforter had a lot of little hair on it.Under staff I assume. Front desk very rude and no customer service skills what do ever. Not at all like the pictures on Priceline website.

I was in town for work as an out of town guest. I do not know what is happening in the area. I am only there for work and do not know anything about your town. I called the hotel to extend my stay and the opportunity to speak to Melissa. I was told the hotel opened at 7am , but she would not be there till 715am. The girl obviously arrived late, so I waited and called back and she answered the phone. In hearing her conversations while being told hold on she was very rude when I hear talking to other people in her lobby and based on the sound of her voice and how she answered she seemed overwhelmed. Then in our conversation, she said I don’t know why you people think you can book a room at the last minute don’t yall know formula 1 is in town. I told her that I was out of town guest I had no idea what was happening in the town, but was calling to see if my stay could be extended and it would be appreciated. Even if she could not extend my stay, there is a proper and professional way to address this with a guest. Needless to say the interaction with her extremely disappointing , very unprofessional, should not be answering phone calls for sure, very rude and definitely needs ALOT of training in customer service. She should not be working the front desk at all or interacting with guest in the manner she did. Melissa is the reason you are loosing guest and getting hundreds of bad reviews….

Great customer service. And made sure I was satisfied with my room. Miss Yali was great help… always will recommend family to do business here
