Ashby was incredibly communicative from beginning to end, and even graciously came to our closing. He offered the most competitive rate based on daily market fluctuations. We will absolutely be reaching out to him first for any further mortgage needs, including refinancing.

Ashby was great to work with as a first time homebuyer! He patiently explained many aspects of the borrowing process. He did all the behind the scenes work to broker a mortgage at a competitive rate which was exactly what I was looking for. I would work with Ashby the next time I'm looking for a mortgage.

Update:Ashby called me to talk about my situation in detail. I’m changing this from 1 star to 2 stars. In a nutshell, he explained what options he’s aware of for my unique situation, and he apologized for not contacting me sooner. He missed/lost my email and did not receive my phone call.Original Review:It would be nice if Ashby would just pick up the phone and talk to me. They’re time is too valuable to just have a quick phone call. Emails and web forms is their preference. If you like old school conversations over phone or in-person, I think these guys aren’t the best for that.

Ashby truly is the best and I must say that from beginning to end my experience was nothing short of exceptional. Ashby was committed to efficiency and meticulousness and was very knowledgeable. It was easy to talk to/work with Ashby, he was attentive, taking the time to listen to my wants and needs and addressing any concerns or questions I had in a timely manner.I was most impressed with the rate he was able to secure for us. His estimate was by far the best out of the numerous quotes we had gotten, even our realtor was impressed. I couldn't be more satisfied with the level of service I received. You could not do better anywhere else. 11/10 stars.

Ashby and Highlander Mortgage are the best! We have worked with them on multiple homes over the years, and every time it has been a good experience. Ashby specifically is very responsive, very honest, helpful, and generally pleasant to deal with. He will even tell you how best to shop for rates, but alas, you still end-up back with him at the end because his rates are the best anyway. We send our friends his way as well.

I literally never write reviews, but my experience with Ashby deserves more than 5 stars. As a first time home buyer, he made the whole process a breeze. He proved to be knowledgeable, thorough, straight-to-the-point, and always available to answer any questions. He looked out for my best interest from square one and never let anything slip through the cracks. Perhaps most importantly, the rate he landed for me blew all other quotes I received out of the water. It even impressed a family member of mine who is also a real estate broker. He gives everyone his best offer upfront no matter what. Simply put, no need to waste time looking elsewhere.

Ashby was knowledgable, professional, and helpful. We were first time home buyers, and he went above and beyond to meet with us, explain the process, and help us wrap our heads around what was to come. He is straight forward, and it didn't feel like a sketchy, parking lot sale, which I appreciated.

Ashby walked through all the things I needed and I think I got a good rate. He was easy to work with and the process was relatively easy and automated. He also took the time to speak with me on the phone a few times and go through my options. I appreciated that.

Ashby is the best loan officer I have even deal with. He put all the effort to process the loan in timely manner. I found him via google and contacted him because of his positive reviews. At first it was hard to believe for his almost 5 star review. When I called him I quickly realized why he had a great reviews and how much honest person he is. I had a less time for closing date because I was already in the contract but Ashby worked all the paperwork as possibly fast as could. He did not took any advantages in charges, fees and rate even I was already getting late for the closing time. He offered me the lowest closing cost and best rate comparing others and communicated me in after hours, on weekends and even on Sunday. If I write all my long story it will be hard to read and hard to believe. I just want to mention that Ashby is amazing loan officer and I am so glad that I found him as my loan officer. Thank you Ashby for your all hard work.

5 Stars! I've done 2 mortgages and 2 Refi's with Scott and his team, and they are fantastic to work with. Scott is super responsive and on top of things like no one else in the business. They have helped me get the best rate and even alerted me of potential opportunities to lower my rates later with a Refi. I have nothing but great things to say about Highlander Mortgage. The next time I need a mortgage Highlander will again get my business.

Working with Scott Dill @ Highlander Mortgage was a very good experience. He provided rates/pricing that no one else could beat. The site is great...they were unfailingly helpful and professional. Why work harder with another lender? I couldn’t believe how easy it was! Definitely recommend.

Our realtor recommended Scott Dill, and we couldn’t have been more pleased with the service he provided. We had some time constraints that he satisfied successfully, while getting us a good rate. He is competent, knowledgeable, diligent, forthright and responsive. He returns emails and phone calls promptly, even after closing; I’ve contacted him twice since our closing, and have benefited from his knowledge and advice. I highly recommend Scott.
