Straight to the point!I called about repairing an HDTV with a large discolored spot. Based on the brand, size, and age of the TV, the gentleman on the phone was able to diagnose the likely problem (a broken backlight), quote me for the repair, and recommend that buying a new TV from a better brand would be a much wiser investment, since my current TV would likely have the same problem down the road.One quick phone call answered all my questions & gave me great, actionable advice. If I ever have problems with another HDTV, these folks will be my first call.

I’m forced to select a star, because I’m unable to leave a comment without one. He came out to look at my TV, charged me for just looking at it. He stated it was fixable and that he knew what the problem was. He then proceeded to say he’d look for the part. Then he advised me that he was going to get back with me and didn’t at all. I had to call him to find out any updates from the time he took a look at the TV. Then over the phone he stated he wasn’t able to fix my Tv. So he got paid to look at my TV for 5 minutes if that. I would NOT recommend this company for any repairs or even customer satisfaction.

These folk are incredibly honest and respond promptly. I filled out a request for a TV repair, got a call back quickly, and was given frank advice that I could get it repaired but that it'd be less expensive to buy a new TV. I'm trying to give these folk money, and they're honest enough to recommend a cheaper option. Highly recommend these folk for an honest opinion at the very least

The man was straight up honest with telling me not to repair the TV but just get another one. This is saving me hundreds of dollars rather than telling me to bring the TV in for personal gains. I appreciate upfront honesty in business

I had a great experience, Very professional and trustworthy, fair pricing as well.I had an old Vizio 3D TV that stopped powering on. Since they don't mass produce 3d TV's anymore (The fad ended before 4K) I wanted to get it working again (Even though it's only 1080p).I'm not sure if he's always able to do this due to time constraints but, he was able to come pick up the TV and deliver it back as well. For a reasonable fee.Fast forward, It was only the power supply board, but the TV is alive and well again!I would definitely use HD TV repair again when/if the time comes!

The technician was able to diagnose the issue in just a few hours and ordered a part. Diagnostic fee was only $40. The new part didn't fix the issue but I wasn't charged. Great customer service and responsive. Would use again.

Look no further, these guys are the best around! I called on a Friday and Essie immediately gave me an honest and fair assessment of the TV repair I described, saying I could drop it off any time during business hours. When I dropped off my TV on a Tuesday afternoon, it was a super fast check-in, minimal deposit, and reiterating the max estimate. Essie called me the next day as promised, and luckily what I thought was broken was not, I'd simply mucked up some ambient light setting. Essie communicated there was nothing broken, and he'd fixed the settings for me. I picked up the TV that same day just 24-hour after dropping it off, and there was no additional charge because no parts needed replacing - and they loaded the TV into the car for me. I cannot think of a time I've had better or faster service at such a minimal cost. I spent hours trouble shooting this TV issue with Samsung support, at the end of which all Samsung could offer was a $200 service fee to send a technician - and that fee did not include the cost of parts and labor. Moral of the story is do not use Samsung support - hire the awesome individuals at HD TV Repair Austin, they're the best around without a doubt!

It's Sunday morning and we awoke to find no sound to our TV. I called expecting to get a recording but a gentleman answered. I informed him of our problem and he told me how to fix it. I did as he instructed and it is working fine. This proves to me they care about you and aren't just in business for money. In today's world this is very refreshing. I recommend this business to everyone.
