This is my go to HEB, even though it's just further from me than the closest one. Things are clean and well maintained here, and the shopping environment is relaxed. They often have a display near the meat section where they demonstrate how to cook with certain products and offer samples of food and wine. There's a decent sized kosher section at this store as well, including a small kosher deli counter. Overall, this is the HEB I would choose to go to, especially over the one on Burnet.

Honestly it's a great store with everything I need, most areas are very nice and the prices are good for essentials. However the produce often looks rough and expires very quickly after buying. "Fresh" herbs like basil are always withered on the shelf but labeled as organic and sold at ridiculous prices. Also not a fan of the layout-- cheese and vitamins/supplements are split into 2 opposite ends of the store, dried fruit is in 3 different places, meat/milk/eggs are way in the back, and most things in the "Asian foods" aisle belong in other sections. I know the store well, but routinely have to look all over the place for specific items.

HEB is one of several businesses that I utilize to shop for groceries. Regardless of the location, I shall always drop in if needed.

The staff was friendly. But the layout is horrible, random cheeses located in opposite ends of the store. Super dirty as well. Also no customer service kiosk.

Not happy with the Spectrum people questioning me. They used to be at the exits, but now they're actually walking around inside the store. Come on...nobody wants to be sold phone/internet while shopping for groceries. So tired of this. What is the point!?

HEB is consistently the best grocery store in Austin. I especially like their app because you can put your shop list in and if you selected your home store, it tells you what aisle each item is on. No more random zig zagging around the store!I will probably never leave Texas because I am too spoiled on HEB!

Another reason to love HEB. It is Thanksgiving moring and I am noticing lots of kindly priced items on the shelf. Knowing HEB, this is no accident. A fully stuffed chicken for a bargain price is going to bless someone today. If you are from out of town and wonder why locals are foolishly loyal - this chicken says it all. Love ya HEB?❤❤

This H‑E‑B sucks. Specifically the curbside service. The past 5 times they’ve forgotten multiple items in our order. This last order they forgot about $30 worth of items. The staff is incompetent.

Curbside has been extremely slacking recently. For the past 5 orders I have had multiple items that I either have to go back for, get a refund for, or shop for the item myself afterwards. Doing this once in awhile is expected and normal because we’re human, however, the issue has been an every week process recently. My most recent order there were 6 missing items, but in addition to asking for 1 bunch of bananas I instead received 4, with the addition of someone else’s salmon.Human error is expected, and I understand what can happen when selecting a service like curbside, but people are selecting this service for specific reasons and this H‑E‑B just isn’t fulfilling the same care and quality that used to be present.

While I stand by the H‑E‑B brand, the location.on Far West Blvd. has got to be one of the single worst grocery stores I've ever shopped. First, they are consistently out of stock on common items. Just cannot count on them to have staple things. Second, they've got a serious meal moth issue. If you don't know what those are, look it up. The moths infest food, esp cereals and grains. The moths are all over this store even swarming around my head in the checkout lane. It's gross and I brought it up to a store manager he acknowledged they had a problem. The staff are nice but there's almost always lines to check out. Just too many reasons NOT to shop here.
