Friendly Rio Market is a unique and great place with total campus vibes, located near the University of Texas at Austin in West Campus. The atmosphere is very chill and comfortable, with owners who are super nice, extremely friendly, truly caring, and some of the sweetest people on earth. They have created a community atmosphere and are sheer geniuses for hosting live music from local bands some nights, even inside the convenience store, which is so much fun. The store offers a nice selection of convenience items, a number of healthy options, the biggest selection of Pocky and chips, Swedish candy, a beer cave, and a ping-pong table. There is a sweet pup who can sometimes be seen there. They also have a self honor system checkout. This kind of stuff only happens in Austin.

This place is great. The live music and the atmosphere is so chill I love it. The owner is super nice and just a great guy. I highly recommend coming out to see this place. I will most definitely be back.
