The employees don’t enforce the rules here. People take cart after cart and line the walls with them. You can’t shop here without being shoved around by resellers. Aggressive.

This was my first experience at the goodwill bins. I had watched a few you tube videos before going to see what I was getting into so I had no problem digging. There is a huge cart hoarding problem at this store, I had to carry an IKEA bag with me the whole time with a bad shoulder, that means that this store is not actually ADA accessible. I agree with another reviewer, they need to let people who are camping all day to take their stuff out to their car instead of leaving carts against the wall, and I’m saying that as someone who is also a reseller. Also, I’m not really sure if it was all that good of a deal. I got about 25 items for $50. That’s $2.00 an item which really isn’t even a great deal in the end, just an okay deal. I think if I was a clothing reseller I might feel differently, perhaps they should price hard goods separately from soft.

Always great finds, and great prices. Perfect for getting out of the house.I do have a concern though! Why can we not buy baby items other than clothing? I was told that we cannot even buy the items in bulk anymore. Perfectly good usable items are getting thrown away! In this instance I found a pack n play that was clean and unbroken just missing the hanging toys. I went to check out and was told that I couldnt purchase the item.I would really appreciate it if this could get answered or resolved.

The bins are an experience! There are great deals to be had but you have to put time in and be ready to rummage through! There are a lot of resellers who spend all day there and they are super quick to hit the new bins. They grab a ton of the good stuff really quick so you have to be fast!

I've been coming to this location, since it opened off and on and couldn't tell you the endless amount of money I've spent here. To start with the good, which is you can find great deals here, if you don't mind bumping elbows with often very rude people and scavenging similar to a dumpster diver would, but through a bin. You pay by the pound and sometimes less if it's a heavier item, glass, movies/games, or books, etc. There are a few hidden gems to be found, but the experience definitely isn't going to be for everyone. On to the negative, which is this location now is flooded with re-sellers, similar to what seems like every thrift store in Austin is nowadays. This location normally has a mix of people who sell at flea markets, clothing online re-sellers, and online book re-sellers, who spend the entire day and gobble up most of the good things as soon as they appear. They generally, will be very rude to other customers and will do things like grab everything they can in a section and throw it in their carts to sort it later and usually end up throwing back a good portion of it, just in time for the aisle to be taken away. Yes, I did say carts, because when they come in, they will normally grab 3 or 4 carts each. Also, make sure to always keep an eye on your cart, because it will get stolen when you aren't looking. It happened to me before and I've seen the same thing happen up to three times in a single week I was there. It normally happens when a lane first opens, because you aren't allowed to bring your cart and that's usually when one or two people snatch it and throw their stuff in. When this place opened it was really a pleasurable experience, but honestly there is now so many people, that it's actually become potentially a safety concern, in my opinion. They could now almost open 3 lanes at a time and people would still be elbow to elbow. If you do decide to give it a shot and don't mind getting a little dirty, make sure to wear gloves, as there is often broken glass and sticky things. It's still an awesome place to find some unique items and stuff that the re-sellers miss. I just sometimes wish large businesses would do the easy fixes that could solve a lot of these issues, because I always feel like they tend to push away a lot of the potential customers they could have, that would support their mission even further.

Goodwill! Please update your hours EVERYWHERE. The official website says opening is at 9 AM. The voicemail says opening is at 9 AM. But Yelp- Goodwill's official website? says 10AM. All that to say, be sure and go by Yelp's information as it is more accurate than the official company website.

Bring a wagon or bags in case there are no shopping carts. (You often have to creep on someone leaving and get theirs)I try to remember to bring gloves and some hand sanitizer for afterwards. It’s a treasure hunt. Don’t expect the organized hunt of a regular Goodwill. Great deals for those willing to put in the work.

In case you didn't know already, this Goodwill location varies greatly from your typical Goodwill. If you are coming here, you better bring a good pair of utility gloves to dig through all the debris in the shallow bins they wheel out. I hate to say it, but there has been many times I have come face-to-face with broken glass in those bins and if you're not careful, you can definitely get badly cut. It's basically a free-for-all when the new bins are pushed out and everyone is allowed to walk to them as fast as possible once they waive the proverbial flag. If you don't mind shuffling through a bunch of junk looking for buried treasure shoulder to shoulder with everyone else while breathing dust and allergens, then this unique thrifting experience unlike any other is for you. And yes, it might actually be a good idea to bring a dust mask. Some of these folks seem to stay most of the day, so they bring a lunch and sit at one of four picnic tables off to the side, where drinks are sold. They do have bathrooms here, but no dressing rooms and they even have a microwave for your lunchtime convenience. Sometimes at one side of the building, you will find furniture for sale. During those times of intermission, you'll see people and their shopping carts along the perimeter looking through items to either keep or discard. When it's time to check out, which may take a while, you'll either be charged by the weight of the items or quantity depending on what it is. There would be more pictures here, but as the rules below state, "no photography allowed". Plenty of parking!

I enjoy going here, but the cart hoarding is a serious issue. I understand having maybe one or two carts full, but some people will hoard 5+ carts with a bunch of other large items next to their area instead of checking out and freeing up space. This means that even when you do find a new cart, there’s no room to park it. This is an issue that will unfortunately never be resolved, so you just have to deal and being something like a large IKEA bag.I enjoy the treasure hunting aspect of the experience. I have found several amazing pieces that would have cost a lot more to buy new. I love listening to podcasts and zoning out while shopping. It’s not for everybody, though.

The workers try there best to do not only as little as possible but being rude at the sametime Obviously don't want to be there. The cashiers are the worst please hire people that want to work. They hoard baskets and pretend like they don't have any they make you chase people to their car to get a basket while watching you.

The cart hoarding makes this a very unpleasant place to visit. If you do find something, you’ll have to carry it and it’s difficult when it’s a madhouse with people digging and grabbing for things. Carts will be lined up all day on the sides filled, but people won’t check out. Instead, they get multiple carts and leave them sitting so no one else is able to have a cart. It’s been this way for a long time and management seems to have no care whatsoever. No carts should be allowed to park on the sides unattended. One cart per family then they can check out, unload and resume shopping with their one cart instead of hoarding 5 carts. This would give others a chance to shop as well.
