They can have good treasures but you have to dig for them. My advice is to wear latex gloves and don't go near closing time. Everything's by the lb except for electronics I believe?

I stopped with 2 out-of-town friends on the way to the airport. An absolutley disgusting experience. The staff and facility are fine, but the patrons were rude and pushy to the point of danger. I was almost knocked down and people just pushed you aggressively, especially to get to new tables, but actually throughout if they wanted something. They'll grab things out of your hands, elbow you or just bulldoze with their bodies. I have never seen anything like it. Everyone did it. All of us were appalled and I was totally embarressed by this "Austin experience". There is no excuse for this kind of behavior.
Nothing there is worth your time. Look somewhere else where people act human.

I normally like outlet stores where you dig through the bins, but this one is just overwhelmed by animals. Literally. All was well, quiet in the store, everyone minding their business, until they brought out TWO bins and everyone lost their mind. I got trampled on by a stampede of people flocking to the bins like cattle. I will never be coming back to this store.

Dear Goodwill Management,
I am writing to share my recent experience at the Goodwill Outlet in Austin, Texas, which stands in stark contrast to the positive encounters I have had at other Goodwill locations across North and South Carolina, as well as Florida. My visit to the Austin outlet initially seemed promising, given the abundant selection and the quality items I found. Unfortunately, my experience was marred by the behavior of the staff on duty that day.
The employees exhibited an alarming level of discourtesy and aggression towards customers, which included yelling, and in my case, an unwarranted invasion of privacy. While I was taking a moment to rest, I noticed employees surreptitiously observing me from over my shoulder, scrutinizing the content I was viewing on my phone. They then confronted me in a highly aggressive manner, insisting I delete a photo I had taken. They remained by my side until I complied with their demand. Although I adhered to their instructions, the photo had already been backed up to my cloud storage, rendering their abrasive approach unnecessary.
I understand the importance of adhering to store policies, including those regarding photography and videography. However, I firmly believe that a simple, kindly delivered reminder of such policies would have been sufficient and far more appropriate. The use of rude and aggressive tactics was unwarranted and detracted significantly from my shopping experience.
I hope this feedback is received in the spirit of constructive criticism, with the aim of improving the customer service provided at your outlets. It is my belief that fostering an environment of respect and courtesy will greatly enhance the shopping experience for all Goodwill patrons.
I will add that we went to the North outlet the next day & the employees there were extremely nice & chill unlike the multiple staff at this location.

Great stuff, but no carts! The resellers hog them and have them lined up on the wall all day, and the workers don’t say anything!!!
**Edited to answer to their response: all the more reason to have a rule for 1 or 2 carts per person!! If you know there aren’t enough carts, why do y’all allow them to be lined up on the walls all day???

Go shop at bargain bins. Their clothes and stuff are new and affordable. Goodwill is way over priced and greedy.

I was very , very , dissatisfied and disappointed with my experience at this particular location. The receptionist, Dee Thomas, was very unpleasant, unprofessional, and did not have the decency to even say " Good Morning", also the store manager for the warehouse dept. , Carlos Galvan deliberately lied to me on several occasions regarding me trying to find employment with Goodwill, Carlos was prejudice, racist, and bias against me for no apparent reason, and he was not professional enough to tell me that he didn't want to hire me, so he used Corey, another Goodwill employee, to lie and tell me that no positions were available at the Warehouse.

The truth is that this manager, Graciela, who is arrogant and spoiled, leaves a lot to be desired. On Sunday, December 17, at around 10:45 am I saw that this manager was talking to that Sheli and a fat lady arrived, Yamada Carmen. I approached to hear what they were talking about and My surprise was hearing how these people gave orders to the manager not to let in a boy who they don't like and the manager Graciela told them not to worry that she was the manager and was in charge there but if for some reason the boy came in Sheli and Carmen will be in charge of falsely accusing him so that the police can take him away, what a shame it is to see a manager saying these things like Goodwill has this bad-hearted lady running such a worthy company, buyers friends be careful, there is a mafia of buyers who, together with that manager, do what they want and worse, they can accuse anyone that they don't like, even when we are going to be humiliated, please goodwill supervisors help us

It is very stressful to be there in that Goodwill store and listen to this manager Grace, when she gets to the line where we are lined up she behaves like a jailer and with too much arrogance and if someone steps foot outside the line she shows off by running them out of the store, telling us He wants to go home.
I always try to stay at the back and avoid being identified, she immediately turns around and shouts very cynically where are you Carmen, Chely, Chayito and Carlos I don't see them (that's the group that does their thing there) and Carlos turns to see us as if to say nobody mess with me!! hahahaha it's really like a horror movie only this is real.
Unfortunately there are cashiers involved who help this group take out the merchandise, they can check the cameras when this group leaves.
There is another employee who was previously a cashier named Mariah, she is another one who gives Carlos the checkout, he waits until this person reaches the checkouts, until the store closes and leaves with his merchandise and that of his girlfriend Mayra.
I think the employee is the second of the manager Grace (Graciela), named ROSA. I thought she was a serious person, but I was disappointed. Recently I heard her expressing herself very badly with a cashier about a customer who supposedly got kicked out for taking something from the store. , that is a lack of ethics and shows her poor education, who judges her? He has a daughter working there and I saw his daughter take a living room game, what do you call that? That's not stealing??? And that's what I saw, I can already imagine what I haven't seen.
I ask the supervisors in the most attentive way to investigate with the personnel who work inside and that they do not have family ties there, they know very well what is happening.
Aaah and they don't allow anyone to look through the Curtains, because they don't want us to notice how the employees carry out the merchandise.
I trust the authorities at the Goodwill headquarters, that is why I am attaching photos of the employees' trokas when they take out the merchandise.

Jose Santos, I support you, I have proof of how this mafia operates, there are reports with the Goodwill headquarters and I don't understand why they don't do anything, they sell things through the back, it's a good business for these people, nothing goes to the floor anymore because If you manage to take some furniture and they give it to you at the price they want, it is of no use to have beautiful paintings on the walls that clearly say that their price is 0.99 cents, blankets and chatter, they want to give everything heavy, they do this so they can To justify so much leakage they have in the back, that manager doesn't realize that she doesn't own the store. I call on citizens to stop donating.

This is the worst store I've ever been to. No carts and no organization whatsoever. Everything just thrown together in giant dirty bins. I'll gladly pay a bit more at a store with carts and some organization.

About 10 years ago I visited this store and before I quickly found what I was looking for, now everything has changed, there is a mafia in the store that controls everything, it is a group of buyers supported by Manager Grace, where they can also be seen at family parties. Of them, they are the ones who monopolize everything and if you win something from them they run to misinform you with said manager and she confronts you without the slightest education, she manages the store as if it were her property, she is rude, arrogant, she does not give you the opportunity to explain your version treats you as if you were the worst criminal, he only limits himself to telling you, you are leaving my store... I don't understand who protected this person? Why does the headquarters allow her to continue with these attitudes, I see that there are already very bad comments about her here and no one does anything....this store survives on donations, I don't understand why she feels like an owner, besides, none of the merchandise goes to the floor anymore. They deliver everything directly to the mafia through the back door....the workers are instructed to go out to the floor and they are given a ticket, they pay a minimum amount at the cashier, they go through the back door and they are charged with that ticket. Much more merchandise in exchange They give them money to make the delivery...where does that money go?
