Why have 5 dressing rooms when you're only going to allow 2 open in the middle of the weekend with a line through the store? Idiocy.

The truth is, the clothes they sell are too expensive, as if they were new, I understand that the sale of these clothes is to help people who need it, even when the clothes are donated, they still sell them as new

I've decided to no longer thrift at this GW. My decision stems from two main issues that, for me, have detracted from the store's appeal and value. Firstly, the decision to sell lids to pots separately feels not only unconventional but also somewhat off-putting. It's a departure from the practicality and affordability that many of us seek in a thrift store experience. This change, albeit small, speaks volumes about the store's direction and its consideration for customer convenience. Secondly, the price increases on donated items--ranging from $1 to $2--have been disappointing. I understand that businesses must adapt to economic changes, but these adjustments during a period of widespread inflation seemed inconsiderate. Thrift stores, in my view, should aim to remain bastions of affordability, especially during tough economic times when people turn to them the most. While I've always appreciated the opportunity to find unique items at GW, these price changes have significantly affected my view of its value and community role. It's with a heavy heart that I've decided to explore other thrift stores that perhaps align more closely with my expectations of value, practicality, and community support.
