BEWARE!! Gap used to have great customer service and were very helpful. Now, they will NOT even let you exchange a gift for a different size of the same thing without a receipt or gift receipt. They can’t or won’t do anything at all. Will be limiting my business with Gap Inc. and shopping stores with better customer service. Please get a gift receipt with all purchases for Gap Inc. items.

Gap has changed their return policy from 60 to 30 days. I had an online order I needed to return and missed the return window by 12 days. I understand I was late, but was out of town for almost 3 weeks caring for my dad who was in poor health. Gap refused my return. The 2 items I purchased are still full price online today. They wouldn’t even offer a return for store credit. So now I am out almost $200. This just seems like a bad return policy. The store manager suggested calling customer service and they gave me the same answer. “No returns accepted after 30 days for any reason.” I’ve been a Gap customer for years, but there’s no way I’ll continue to be a customer after this. I’d give zero stars if I could.

They do not let you process online returns here even though their own website directs you to this one exact store. When they refused to process my return they said they knew it was an issue.Wasting customers times with a known "issue"? What a terrible experience with an inconsiderate company.

I realize everyone is short staffed these days. I took my elderly mother here to by some clothes for the winter a couple of days ago. Her first time out of the house in 2 weeks. She has a hard time getting around without assistance. I kindly asked if she could use their restroom as we were about to check out. The young girls checking us out told us she needed to go to the food court or Nordstrom and they didn't have one she could use. I used to work in retail at a mall in Dallas and know you can make exceptions. They were not accommodating at all and sent her on her way, alone. I had to tell them to stop checking us out as my mom was trying to find her way shuffling to the Nordstrom bathroom by herself. She and the rest of my family have been loyal customers for many years. This embarrassed her and she never wants to go back. Again, I realize the problems with theft and being short staffed, but she's 77, has a seizure disorder, and barely gets around on her own. I think the staff should be trained for these situations. We were buying quite a bit of merchandise and have been for many years. Cut short by the fact that I was worried about her finding her way to Nordstrom and cutting our order in half at least. :( very disappointing.

Makayla and Carla are absolutely awesome!. I had an issue with an online order and the went above and beyond to help me get it sorted out. I definitely appreciate the time they spent on the phone trying to help me resolve the issue.
