If I could leave zero stars I would.I rented a vehicle and picked it up on Wednesday, November 22nd. I was driving on the interstate and the engine light came on and the car began to shudder. I called the emergency line and was directed to the Lafayette, LA airport location. The man working the desk refused to help and told me he did not have a vehicle to change out. I was told later that he was supposed to evaluate the vehicle at a minimum.Because it was Thanksgiving Eve and I just wanted to get to my mother's home, I got back in the car and drove slowly and fortunately made it.I began calling on Friday, Novemeber 24th and went to 4 different locations. No one would change out the vehicle for something comparable (one place offered a giant truck I didn't feel safe driving). Finally I had the car towed as it was unsafe to drive. Then miraculously the next day I was able to return to another location and an appropriate vehicle was available. I spent six hours trying to resolve the issue on my holidayI called multiple times to try and speak to a manager to no avail.I was told to call the Austin Downtown location to resolve the issue. I did and was told I needed to speak with Mannie(?) the regional manager. He never called. The local employee called and told me they would offer half off the charges and I stated that I still wanted to speak to the manager. Still no call. One month later they charged my credit card the entire amount, not even honoring their offer of half off.My main issue here is that the vehicle was unsafe and I could never reach ANYONE with any authority to get the vehicle changed out to an appropriate car.

Okay so we reserved a car to get us around Texas because our truck is being repaired We arrive to a very nice employee he asks us questions and is almost through and almost immediately the manager(Rubien) begins asking us questions about our truck which seems irrelevant in this situation right now like where is it and whats wrong? he takes over our case, bc the employee was feeling under the weather, very nice employee by the way He was very professional so this review is all about the manager Rubien but the manager seems entitled he takes over 30 minutes to "verify" our drivers license mind you we are fron Louisiana He has asked my partner for his license muliple times, He asked my partner for his credit card MULTIPLE times with the last time being asked for it was to pay so why is he asking us for his card multiple times seems fraudulent to me. It's understandable to verify identity we get that but Rubien was doing way more than his job requires. with all the issue being he is trying to "verify" out of state license? which is understandable but why is it taking so long when we are for one crunched for time I feel we were racially profiled as soon as we walked up because this process shouldnt take over 30minutes to verify then he proceeded to go into another office, walking around talking on his cell phone while continuing to make us wait. We are not having the best day my partner isnt feel well and trying to make the best of it but it doesnt help when it seems yo are being profiled and when questioned multiple times and all the manager kept saying is "they get this all the time with out of state license we just have to verify" verify what exactly? Then he is asking about where our hotel and address was. Where my partner works exactly whats our home address? We have rented multiple cars before and never had this hassle or problem or been asked those questions before EVER at any rental car place .. Then he goes to say as soon as he gives us the vehicle and as my partner proceeds to pay he THEN mentions a 300$ deposit well why not mention that before hand when the policy and insurance was discussed earlier in office..what if we didnt have a 300$ deposit he proceeded to say "well the payment wont go through" even though we knew about it why not tell us that before we are even in the vehicle. It made it seem like he either didnt want us to know about a deposit or anything for that matter My partner had to do Rubiens job & take photos and videos of the cars condition for verification he just seemed to be worried about all the "verification" of our license.. Next time please do better Rubien work on having a better attitude we didnt deserve the way you treated us you treat ALL customers (and maybe your employees too) with respect cause that wasnt needed.

I experienced outstanding customer service when working with Hannah for my rental at Enterprise in Austin TX. Hannah greeted me with a smile during our phone conversation prior to picking up the vehicle, and delivered excellent customer service till the very end upon leaving Enterprise. Hannah answered all of my questions & concerns with superb soft skills & professional knowledge in her role. Hannah is an asset to your company!

Horrible. First, they have no inventory for weeks if you are reserving through an insurance company. They magically have inventory if you direct reserve. So they deprioritize those in most need of rental cars.Then, they let me reserve a car at 2 p.m. on a Sunday. When I called to say I would be there at 2:03, they refused to wait 3 minutes past their closing time. Why have a system that lets you reserve *at* closing time without notifying the person that that is when your business closes? Why not wait 3 minutes for a customer? Don't use this or other enterprises if you can avoid it.

My car was at a body shop being repaired. Enterprise personnel brought the car to me, which was great. Then, when my car was ready, I was able to leave the rental car at the body shop and drive my car home. The cost of the rental was competitive, the personnel with whom I worked with were courteous, knowledgeable and efficient.

It's not their fault that there was a hail storm, then two weekends of ACL then Formula One I arrived at 7:45 and was able to leave half an hour later with a minivan. The girl needed to go fill the tank with gas. She was really apologetic and kept me up-to-date. I also noticed that there was a Corolla with a flat to which the staff added air to, my minivan needed error as well to check in process was fairly straightforward as was the drop off return process

If you planned your perfect vacation in Austin and wanted to rent a car to execute this plan, I’d advise you to stay away from this Enterprise!We had a reservation and they said even though in our booking that we can drop off after hours, they said last month they had a policy change and that’s no longer the case. We asked why we weren’t told earlier, they said “we don’t have time to argue with you” (we weren’t arguing, or even raised our voice, we just showed them the email of our booking) and that “we refuse to rent a car to you now because there are people lining up to rent our cars”.We now have to change our entire itinerary as we need to scramble to find another rental car reservation for later in the week because of the last minute booking! Vacation ruined ?♀️I guess if you’re willing to beg for a car to rent and also accept what ever policy change they tell you on arrival, then you’re fine to rent from here. Otherwise highly recommend to stay away.

Very friendly staff. I had trouble with my Credit Card, they were very patient and helped fixing it. The cars are as advertised. I really appreciate being able to do after hour returns.

Austin Tx Downtown, in town for a few days and needed a car just for the day, Used the Downtown location and had a very pleasant experience with the Team running that location, car was clean, fueled and ready to go when I got there, the drop-off was after hours, SIMPLE. Management they followed up with me the next day to see if everything was good with the car, just a bit of follow-up you dont see any more! Super group to deal with. will use them again.. this group of guys should be training others! Great attitudes. Thanks so much

Deducting 1 star just because the interior could have used a shampoo. They helped me out and had a car immediately for me and the check in was quick despite multiple other people picking up cars at the same time. This was after Hertz on E 10th cancelled my reservation upon arrival bc they were over booked and basically shrugged and may as well have told me to go f*ck myself (after literally everyone else I interacted with in Austin was exceptionally nice and I'm from the south so that saying something). I dropped off after hours and enterprise even called me the next day to confirm the charges etc before emailing my final bill. Good service unlike the lazy uncaring people at Hertz. Also I was reminded after this about Hertz having their customers falsely arrested for stealing cars when all along the car was returned and the dumbasses at Hertz couldn't keep track of them. Anyway Hertz sucks and thanks to Enterprise I was able to keep my plans. Bit higher rate but worth it.
