Brought our cat in for the laser declaw. Great experience, said our cat. My only comment would be we had six points of contact, each with a different person. However, that was not an issue as they provided a consistent message.

Austin veterinarian diagnostic hospital misdiagnosed both my cats with HCM. The vet who performed the cardiac ultrasound I later found out, was not a board certified cardiologist. Per their vets recommendations both of my pets were put on medication. After having a second opinion from a board certified cardiologist that specializes in HCM I was then Informed my pets have been misdiagnosed, and the medication they were put on was not for HCM. Bringing this attention to Austin veterinarian diagnostic hospital I was avoided after multiple attempts of contacting them, and then received an email with a poor response with no resolution to their misdiagnosis.

Leaving another review because I am just so appreciative of Dr. Sarah and her amazing team. I am so thankful to have found a place that took such good care of my baby, even though it was only two months that I'd been going to this hospital they took the best care of my Oliver, they were fast, careful, smart, and when I needed them they were always there to answer any of my questions or give me tissues as I said goodbye to my bestfriend. Thank you all at Austin diagnostic for showing your outermost love, care, and expertise in taking care of my baby during his life and after. I will forever appreciate you all.

Reviewing after first visit. Our first visit was really nice. Even my dog seemed to enjoy the space. The ladies in the front office were very pleasant, the vet and attendant were very nice. What impressed me the most was that Dr.Varga took his time and did not seem in a rush to talk about and explain things. I'm so happy we gave this place a try and will be our new vet office:)

Dr. Jeremy Varga has been my vet ever since we moved to Austin over 8 years ago. He & his staff are superb & very caring. He saw me through my cat's death exactly 4 1/2 years ago at age 13 & today (on World Pet Memorial Day) he saw me through my dog's death at age 14, in both cases ending their lives only when it was time & painlessly in both cases. A few years ago they saved my dog's life by diagnosing a bad gall bladder & removing it. He diagnosed my dog with cancer nearly 36 weeks ago & was with me (& my wife) every step of the way, always helping with meds & in every other way, as our dog lived on a surprisingly long time. At one point a staff member stayed in our home & looked after our dog while we were out of town, & she did a great job. Dr. Varga & AVDH are simply the best in the business.

Kind, caring, professional and knowledgeable!! I was nervous about seeking a second opinion in regards to the health of our young dog- a rescue Belgian Malinois mix. However, from the moment I opened the door to their office, I felt at peace with the care we were given. I especially appreciated Dr. Varga and staff for making sure our concerns were addressed. I felt heard and hopeful that we are on the right path for the best health care possible for our newest family member!!

I've had a wonderful experience with Austin Veterinary Diagnostic Hospital. Dr. Varga performed a total ear canal ablation on my 11 year old cat beautifully. The vet tech, Matthew, was amazing as well. He sent me a picture of my cat when she came out of surgery, which was much appreciated. Even the front desk staff is a pleasure. I'm so glad I found this vet!

Took my 12 yr old dog here today. The entire staff was kind and seem happy to work there. Everyone is pleasant and the doctor made the impression she has time. Didn't seem like a rushed place where they are pressured to meet a patient quota. People there like animals (and the owners) Couldn't ask for anything more- very nice doctor who provided much information. It's a bit out there on 290 West but well worth the drive- these are the kind of places I want to support! Thank you!

The staff & Doctors at Austin Veterinary Diagnostic Hospital are the best !!! Their caring loving attitude makes you feel like you have found the help you need for your pet. We recently needed to have some tests done for our cat that our vet did not have available & we went to this clinic because we had been there in the past when we needed tests done. We would use this clinic all the time but it is almost 30 miles from our home but when we need a specialist to help us this is always where we go. We are very grateful for their expertise & caring help !!!!

Best veterinarian practice I've ever experienced. When I moved to Austin, one of my first priorities was to find veterinary care for my Peaches. Admittedly, I looked into AVDH first because it was just a few miles down the road from me. I had no idea how lucky I was to have found such five-star care. There is nothing I don't love about this place. I'm super bummed Dr Donop is no longer there, as he is usually who we see but Dr Varga has also seen her and both are masters at what they do. Every single person, doctors, techs, and office staff, make that place so special. Cannot recommend AVDH enough.

Dr. Donop had been our doctor and with him retiring, Dr. Sarah is now helping us with our 14 year old that was just diagnosed with a heart murmur. No matter the doctor, the staff and the doctors all have been great. Friendly, involved and relatable. All down to earth and amazing knowledge and care. This is a place filled with happy employees and an overall great vibe. If you need more advanced care this is the place. I'm sure there's other care available too, but we go for specialty reasons. You can't go wrong. Highly recommend.

I just saw a sign outside the business that Dr. Donop is leaving. I will ***NEVER*** forget the day that he overdosed my cat by injecting her with Baytril for CATTLE which permanently detached her retinas - leaving her blind for the rest of her life. To add insult to injury, she ended up passing away at a later date due to a sarcoma at the injection site. He paid more detail to his new land cruiser than his patients. It's been almost 20 years, but to me it feels like yesterday.

They do an amazing job and my babies get a thorough checkup! They are loving and kind and I wouldn’t take my babies anywhere else.

Twenty year client. Will not be returning. After spending $10,000 in a few months, when my dog was having seizures due to a prescribed medication I couldn't talk to the doctor, I was treated like an idiot. I showed another vet the video on my phone and yes the dog was having a seizure. There is much more that I can say, I am extremely disappointed with the level of care and attitude shown to older animals.
