I went to this store on stassney and the employees had a really bad attitude and did not have any good coustmer service at all.Really bad place to go and buy your groceries or anything ! Will never go back again

this place is a dump even though expectations are fairly low for DG. And I tried to buy one item, but there is a line of 6 customers waiting on the very slow cashier and then the manager pops out of the office- pays no mind at all to everyone waiting in line- and leaves the store saying he has to run an errand….tells the cashier on his way out that her help should be here at 2…..well, it’s already 2:07 and now her manager ditched her.

Never ever open on time. I've showed up multiple times in the morning and its always closed passed 8am. Workers are just standing around waiting for the person who has the key open the doors. They all go inside and still the doors are locked. Never anything in stock as well. You're better off going to the dollar general on manchaca down the street.

10/14/2024 the staff locked the doors at 9:45 even though public posted hours are 10. Looked me and ignored me when I was trying to get more information as to why they locked the doors over 15 minutes early.

"I walked in, and an employee immediately asked me what I was doing there and accused me of following someone around the store and taking pictures of them, even though I had just walked in. I showed him my phone to prove I hadn’t taken any pictures and then left awkwardly. Maybe check your cameras before making accusations. Normally this location is great.

Never buy anything with an expiration date from this location. This is one of the many times they had severely expired food in the front of the shelves. I've called corporate before and they refuse to make it right at all. Honestly probably needs to be reported to health department or something.

Used to be a nice place to shop and now it's full of homeless people and extremely rude amd unpleasant staff. Seems like it's always dirty, falling apart, no items in stock, trash everywhere outside. Door is boarded up and has been for months. This is an eyesore.
