I’ve noticed a bad smell the last two times I’ve entered the store. The store also felt warm and humid. I wouldn’t trust all products on the shelf since it seems like the temperature isn’t a priority.
The store is messy, cramped and dirty.
I bought one chocolate candy for my daughter that did not require refrigeration and it was moldy when we got home and opened it. The best buy date was not expired. I tried to call the store cause they had a whole shelf full by the register but no one answered, twice.

This Morning I Was yelled at this morning by the young Mexican man. Saying “Jesus the store not even opened yet”. It was eight O’Clock or a couple minutes after, I walked up to the doors they didn’t open then leaving me to manually open them. Where I was greeted with a rude roar from a crossed the store. Stating not only in a profoundly obnoxious demeanor that the store wasn’t open he then proceeded to state that he’s not opening the store. Then once again educating me that even if the door is not locked don’t come in.I asked that this situation gets handle so no other paying customers will feel attacked. Dollar General on Pleasant Valley is a wonderful place, however it only takes one apple to spoil the whole bunch.

When you to cashier the prices are higher than appear in the aisles.Have prices, and when you pay, it is higher for 15 cents or also a dollar. It's not a lot , but there goes people with tigh money to buy.

Good prices and you can get some discounts through the app. The store is in the middle of residential buildings. At night the region is a bit strange.

They advertise that they are cheaper and a “bargain” store but really almost every food item I got was slightly more than H‑E‑B. Also many of my items were rung up slightly more than what the price was on the shelf. I feel scammed.

Fat guy makes me wait several minutes whenever he is attending other business needs, also once he charged me for an item not placed on the bags, so I let him know with the receipt "you charged me for that item" he just said: did I? And offered to refund, took item instead, seems sketchy.

Very clean, safe, quiet with an excellent selection. Really cool place. I commend the manager, this can be a rough neighborhood.

The guy there is very RUDE!! I asked to use the restroom and he ignored me. I then asked again and he said they are closed. A simple answer without being a complete jack a** would've been fine! Also the store is dirty and a complete disaster!!
