Went in with 1 flat tire in the front and 4 pirelli tires. Salesman told me i had all Yokohama tires. Then proceeded to put the new tire on the front. When i got to the car and realized the new tire wasn’t on the rear like it is supposed to be i called them and the manager, Elmer, very politely told me that was a mistake on their end and to come in and get it fixed. When I came in another salesman tried to convince me I didn’t need to rotate the tire to the back, and should instead consider buying another new tire instead. Had to ask him multiple times to please just follow the protocol that is written on discount tire receipts and put the new tire on the rear. Very disappointed in the service, seems like everyone at the computers in the sales room (except Elmer) was more concerned about a sales bonus than vehicle safety.

Been waiting here over an hour after letting them know I was on a time crunch… I was told that they could accommodate me under an 1.15 ! Yet I’ve been here over that and they keep telling me they are waiting on approval from hertz… okay and I understand that can take a bit but if you are on top of your customer accounts you would not let over an hour go by before you check back in… they lack urgency and respect of customers time. They also don’t seem to know how to work well with business to business communication… if you are in a rush, don’t be… clearly, they can care less and just want to get the car on the log for their daily numbers. Also, all I need is a plug… aren’t those free? Or like $10? I do not need to be waiting for an approval… Ed is also pretty rude…

Came in for two new tires and they accidentally scratched my wheels. Not the end of the world by any means, but I was not pleased. Tanner took care of the situation and made it as right as he could. I will continue to buy tires from Discount. Thank you for not making a bad situation worse and bringing costumer service back.

I've never had an issue at this Discount Tire location. Everyone is always so nice and respectful; I also appreciate them taking the time to explain everything to me as someone who doesn't have extensive knowledge about vehicles.

Price was the same as the other two places I checked. Service was good. Long wait time, probably because you’re so loved. Adequate communication.

OK, if ya don't know now ya do . Yes this place is stupid crowded all the time .
But you've gotta know how to get in and get out like I do . There are 2 ways this can happen.
1. Go online and make an appointment.
They do and will be waiting for you at said appointment time , don't be late.
2. This is my little trick .
Take what ever rim , tire , off of the vehicle. Take them the rim , tell them what tire you want on there. And leave .
Come back after you had lunch , or went grocery shopping, swing back by there , and they will even load it for you . So you do not have to wait. I'm a busy guy , I have a lot of stuff to do . These folks at discount will help you , you just need to ask .
They can't read your mind . Lol

They broke a stud replacing my tire. They argued with me about it being my fault. They finally agreed it was their fault and gave me a replacement referral form (they will not fix it for you) and ordered me a new stud (said they’d call me when it came in, of course they did not.) when I called the referral for the replacement the mechanic said “I wish they’d stop sending y’all, it’ll be months before I can get to you.” So I decided to do it myself (I do not do any mechanical work). Now I can’t get my calipers back on, probably going to have to replace my break pads due to damage I caused attempting it, and I don’t have a functioning car. I have never hated a business more than I hate this specific discount tire. I beg you, do not go here.

Ordered tire online and set an appointment. Everything went smoothly and fast. I was out in a little over 30 minutes, and they were busy.
Great customer service, informative, and a hard-working team. Great location. However, I did ask for them to check and set the pressure on all tires. Inside guy wrote it down, but techs didn't do it.

BEST Tire store! Excellent location to purchase tires, great staff and service.
AND last Saturday they repaired my tire puncture and sent me on my way within an hour! For free! Wonderful.

You are the BEST, Discount Tire (Slaughter & Manchaca)!! I have a busy work day, found out need to travel to West Texas and knew my tires were worn out. Don't want to risk it with the storms. Same day appointment to replace tires, in and out in under an hour so didn't miss any work meetings. No pressure on which price level to buy. Honest and efficient. Thank you!!!

These guys ROCK.. Andres Rocks. I had tread separation on both rear tires on my2018 Honda Accord. I was told because of poor tread depth on the front tires, they couldn’t touch them. In short I had a funeral to go to and I needed 4 tires but only budgeted for 2. Andres worked his magic and 2 tires were covered on road hazard warranty. So I got 4 tires for the price of 2.
