I haven’t even gotten my tires on yet, but the outstanding customer service I have received from all the employees over there, especially Jason. He reached out to me to try to fit my installation in even though my appointment time had already passed.

I can never say enough good things about Discount Tire! I have been to this location a few times, and despite the volume of customers they get, staff are always kind and smiling with everyone who comes in. I have worked with both Erik and Damian, and both have been extremely thorough and not pushy when it comes to add-ons. All other staff have been courteous as well.

Our experience today at Discount Tire Ben white today was less than ideal.
We came in to buy 4 new tires and rims, not a cheap transaction. We opted to go with discount because usually they are on top of things being that they are a well known franchise.
When we come back to pick up our car, they dismantled our previous tires off our old rims. All had new tread which we also purchased with them. Why they took it upon themselves to take our tires off the rims like we were going to just throw them away makes no sense. During the process they tore the wall of one of the tires and since we had it insured we wanted it to be replaced. Now they came back and told us it would be a long time to get another tire like it in, and that it was discontinued- we had this issue last time when one of the insured tires got a hole in it and they found a comprable replacement before. But now today they said oh we will give you 88 bucks for it… being that we had been there for 2 hours at this point, in the pouring rain while they are rushing to close, we regretfully accepted. We felt bad even asking them to put it back together bc we knew it was coming up to closing time, but again they decided to dismantle them without asking, I assume to resell the tires.
On top of that we just got home and now realized that they left our aftermarket rim caps off. We have the whole set of rims and are planning to resell to make back some of the money we spent today. You would think that they would ensure that they take care of everything appropriately to not damage a paying customer’s property. We dropped over 1,000 just to only have part of our property returned, and have our rims missing the caps, and be 1 tire short of how we started. This is terrible business. We dropped the car off before 2 pm. Came to pick it up at 5, realized what they had done, then had to sit there for another hour. Just to get home and realize we were screwed over again bc they wanted to get out of there. Now we can’t get in touch and warn them to not throw away the caps bc we want them. So now we have to wait to go back first thing in the morning.
I would give this ZERO STARS IF I COULD. I expect a call from the manager first thing in the morning.

Great service and team spirit. I ordered 4 new tires on their website and then made an appointment for first thing in the morning the next day. I was in and out in no time. Easy peasy.

This place is super busy. Without a reservation you’ll wait up to three hours. They are a laid back crew at the Ben White store. They didn’t seem to be in any kind of a hurry. The store in Pflugerville works two times faster with less banter between the employees. If you need a flat fixed, take a sack lunch, it’ll be awhile

I can’t say anything bad about Discount Tire. I have bought tires from them where I live and have had other service done. Have always been treated well by employees.
My daughter had a flat late last night. She was able to get the spare on. I reside in another city about 5 hours away. She is currently going to the university.
I was able to get her an appointment online for 9:00am. She was treated well and in a timely manner. To my surprise there was no charge for the repair even tho they were not purchased from them. They were the originals on the car when we bought it new for her.
Discount tire has earned my trust and respect. I will only purchase tires from them and they have gained a lifetime customer. Thank you to the employees at Discount Tire at 1411 W Ben White Blvd.

If you want to wait two hours after checking in to get a single tire changed this is the place for you. Otherwise, go to any other Discount Tire.

They used to be more discount, their guarantees used to be worth it. I have started seeking out local options that take more time to help make a tire decision and work to see that the client isn't just another number for the corporation to feed on.

The service is 11/10. Kevin was so helpful and attentive. One of my valves on my tires was faulty and they were so kind of my time and were able to fix it within the day. The entire staff was amazing ☺️
