The first sales associate I met was not super helpful. She guided me to the changing room but didn't offer any true help. Another associate took the time to open a separate room for me, brought me different sizes and styles. She offered advice on what I may like and what would look better for my body type. She wasn't overly pushy and willing to help as much as possible. She showed me a few options that I would have never thought to try on by myself.I was offended when the first associate asked the associate, helping me, if they were going to share commission. What?!

Jarmella, in the lady’s shoe department, is simply the best. I will wait until she finishes with another customer just to work with her. She is friendly, kind and hustles. I greatly appreciate her.

So went to shop for Christmas and picked out a bunch of shoes as gifts. The day was November 24th. My wife asked return policy and they said 30 days from sale or exchange/store credit. Last time I checked Christmas is 31 days away so how does that make sense? We wound up not buying anything. A lot of shoppers who don't ask questions will be very surprised. Terrible policy.

I'm writing this review because of the terrible customer service I received in the men's department in the Dillard's at the Domain in Austin.I went on Dec. 10th and purchased 6 pairs of pants for my boyfriend. He tried them on and none fit. When I returned the pants on the 12th, seeing the same clerks who helped me two days prior, they were unable to return one pair of pants because they rang up the order incorrectly (charged me twice for one pair and not at all for the other). After calling a store manager, they claimed they could not rectify the situation and could only reimburse me for 5 pairs of pants because the 6th pair was 'not in the system'. They told me I must call corporate to fix it.I called corporate twice and got the message that the number is not working.Why would a service oriented store make a customer pay for the mistake of an employee (a $60 mistake)? I don't understand. I will NEVER shop at Dillard's again. It's a shame because I do like their shoe selection.

Not super happy with the customer service desk at this location. I recently purchased two dresses as options to wear to an event. I didn't end up wearing either, and when I went to return them, the lady only scanned in one of my items. I didn't realize until I had left. I brought my problem to the service desk and they told me since the transaction had been completed there was nothing they could do. As someone who also works in retail, I know this isn't true. Inventory processing systems are advanced enough to see that they have an item in their inventory that was purchased and not returned. Additionally, this was a mistake on their part and they did little to nothing to help me in this admittedly difficult situation. I'm now out $150 and I don't even have the dress I payed for.

Every employee greeted me and offered to help me should I need it.The store was impeccably organized.The selection of clothes was extensive and the brands were name, high quality and superbly fashionable.They also have awesome sales racks.What a great place to acquire attire.

Five stars are given because of one person - Tara. She works in evening wear. Tara is extremely kind, patient, honest, and compassionate, even with the department being busy! She is a powerhouse. Thank you Tara!!!
