Dave's Ultimate Automotive on Howard lane has gone above and beyond yet again. I've been coming to Dave's for years and could not be happier with the service. Bryan was especially helpful when reviewing the report of suggested repairs. Letting me know honestly what repairs are needed and what can wait. They even gave me a ride to work! I won't trust anyone else to work on my 2010 vehicle. Highly recommend!

I had a misfiring cylinder on my 16-year-old Honda Civic. They got it fixed in three and a half hours. They warrantied the bad coil that was causing the problem, because it had only 11,000 miles on it. They could have easily shined me on and charged a lot more, but they were honest about it. They're good people who do good work - definitely a great shop.

I took my truck to another shop first and their poor troubleshooting led to them recommending an engine replacemenr for $12,000. I have a well cared for 2019 ram truck with 65k miles on it. I wasn’t buying their assessment so I took my truck to Dave’s and all I needed were 16 new spark plugs to clear the cylinder misfire code and I was back on the road for $1,800. I took the staff up on doing a few other maintenance activities while they had things taken apart. Otherwise I would’ve been even less out of pocket. Honest staff. Smart and Experienced Technicians. I appreciate them taking their time to really diagnose the problem. They could’ve easily undercut the other shop’s price and gave me the same diagnosis.

I totally understand people make mistakes but My husband and I just moved from out of town, we brought our 2016 Chevy Cruze in because it kept dying on me when I took it on a small trip I explain to them what was happening that I thought it was a fuel pump issue or something similar because it would putter when driving or shut off. Once we got it towed to them they check it out told us it was the ignition coil okay cool they switched it out we picked it up the following day, as soon as we pulled out the drive way it dies again we called them told them it shut off! Weird right? The tech guy came over checked it out wasn’t throwing any coded so they pulled it back to the shop we called them Monday morning to see what was going on Brian told me it was the spark plugs and a bunch of gunk on the motor they cleaned it off and “changed the spark plugs” mind you we already paid $660 for a part that it didn’t even need and proceeded to tell me that it’s going to cost $100 for them replacing the spark plugs? We didn’t give you the okay to change them out and why charge us $100 if y’all replaced a part that didn’t need to be!!! that should have been out of the $660 we wasted. Mind you the car is running fine now after getting more money ha should have known from some of the recent reviews. People please read reviews before taking your cars somewhere.

I had an appointment for an oil change, but had the check engine light turn on and my truck started to misfire. Mark got me in a day early to check it out. I had lost 6 quarts of oil over 6 months and had no apparent leaks. Mark and his team worked hard to find the issue and after reviewing their findings, replaced the items that needed to fixed. I was headed on a long trip to Florida and was thankful for their work.
