Worst pharmacy ever. Long lines, slow and rude service, pharmacy calls unanswered. I reported this all to the store manager the last time I was in a couple months ago to no improvement. I'll be transferring my meds elsewhere.

Went to CVS @ Avery Ranch - west Parmer Lane today, 1/20/24 @ 5:45 to buy an Uber cash gift card and was very disappointed with one of their staff (man). He is very rude and he had a very negative attitude towards me!! He kept asking why I purchased gift card every time, and I have my right not to answer him coz I didn’t do anything wrong!! Then I left and purchased the gift card at the Walgreens across the street, No one asked me that stupid question at all ?I Won’t come back to this location, ever again. I felt so sad and embarrassed to know that this place has trained such a bad staff!!!! Bad customer service! If you think you are not ready to sell gift cards, then don’t sell them!!

This is the absolutely worst CVS location possible, and it is a shame that they have closed the other 2 locations nearby at 183/Avery and 620/Oconner and consolidated it with this Avery/Parmer location. Absolutely terrible in every way possible - from really bad customer service, to terrible attitudes (even by those training in the store), to horrible ETAs and constant rescheduling of availability (have to go to the store 4-5 times on their schedule and still come back to get the meds), to absolute laziness when it comes to the minute clinic/pharmacists even in giving vaccines during scheduled appointments. There can be a HBS case study written on "what not to do" by just observing behavior at this pharmacy for 24 hours. Avoid at all costs. Not a review on CVS, but certainly about this store location. I would replace the entire staff on this one.

Very bad customer service, impossible to get through the answering system to get hold of the person to talk. They keep sending text about my medications, call to my doctor about 3 months supply, BUT I didn’t ask for that. I ask so many times do not do automatic refills. Guys PLAESE stop be super aggressive in this market. I WILL CALL YOU WHEN I NEED IT. Very unplesant experience in 90% of the time. I miss my Wyoming Spring CVS so much, it was always great experience, so bad that they closed it down.

This place is a SCAM.If I could give them negative stars, I would do that.I tried making a COVID appointment online and entered my insurance details. Unlike Walgreen, which tells you the COVID testing price upfront, CVS does not tell you anything. After making the appointment, I tried calling the store just to double check on price but no luck. Lady on call told me that we'll let you know when you come onsite. So I went to CVS next morning and found there was no one in the minute clinic. I went to the pharmacy counter and lady mentioned only minutes clinic can tell you that.I have checked in already but nobody was there for me to help me with price information so I waited. Soon, my name was called in and nurse asked to come inside room. I provided all my health insurance information and asked how much price I have to pay for COVID test. Nurse told me since you are with Aetna, you don't have to pay anything. I asked again, are you sure that's with my insurance as well? She said yeah, max there will be a co-pay and we won't be able to tell you price till the end of visit. I was ok in paying the co-pay. So I provide all additional health details and she took the sample. She automatically pulled a flu test kit and said since your symptoms are flu like as well, I would like to do a flu testing on this. Now, I was not asked this, she already put the sample in flu kit without even my consent. Even then when I asked about price, she said don't worry it will be covered through insurance.Test came positive and she told me few over the counter medicine names. Now, she comes back and tell me this will be $350 and since you are in a high deductible plan, most likely you will have to pay for it.And upon asking the breakdown of $350, she said $100 is for in person office visit, flu shot is not much, it's only 50 dollars. And that's where I knew it was a scam and they are just trying to make money. How do you decide whether $50 is a lot or it's "just". The nurse wasn't even wearing gloves a single time, not even when was taking sample. She kept big nails and I definitely didn't feel very hygiene about it. I wish CVS had put some discipline for professionals.Summary: don't go to CVS for anything. COVID test for sure. Even the prices of all the medicine are way higher than target or any other stores. Plus they don't do the price match. Ofcourse, that's how they like to make money.

Disappointed in how this CVS pharmacy has gone down hill. The pharmacists used to care about their patients, but I feel like they don’t anymore. I get it. Pharmacy is a tough business. They are asked to do near impossible tasks like giving vaccines during busy hours and getting all the prescription filled. Simply being courteous is an easy thing to do though. Kimberly whom I presume was the pharmacist called out my prescription so loudly that everyone in the vicinity could hear. There is a thing called HIPAA and people value their privacy, myself included. Please be more considerate about discussing medications when others can hear. Also, try to fight for your patients. If a prescription is hard to get, lobby on behalf of the patient to get what you can from the manufacturer. That will yield loyalty like nothing else.

Nancy was extremely helpful finding an unusual item. Not the least expensive store but if you become a CVS member and buy CVS branded products, you can really save money.

Manager Shanda Pena needs to be fired, I didn’t get the ECB I was supposed to from a deal so I asked for a refund, she stole my manufacturer coupon and said it was “against policy” to return it, that’s a lie, that is cash your company is gaining back from the manufacturer in my name! Also, the white dude with long brown hair is extremely creepy, whether you are male or female, he will stalk you throughout the store- I had trouble at self checkout a few days ago and he lied and said I was “not allowed” to try to use self check out again, claimed it was store policy, which is a blatant lie, and he seemed to have no problem when I ignored him and went back to self checkout. He has stalked me and my friends on multiple occasions whether we go together or alone, this is not an isolated incident. He and Shanda need to be fired.

This place used to be good, but I won't be going back. On the phone they quoted me $40 copay for a brand name medicine. When I got there it was such a mess. They said they couldn't even find my prescription in the system even though I knew it was. Turns out they are so incompetent they weren't even looking up the right medication (it was something I had never even heard of). When they finally found it they quoted me at $175 and that they only had the generic. They didn't even have the brand name at the store! They had lied on the phone. Walmart on 620 has been much better customer service and was $125 for the same medicine. Sorry CVS.

Used to be good. Now as bad or worse than Walgreens. They apparently close 130-200 and don't bother to put that on their app hours, Yelp or anywhere.

Been a long time customer here and have been satisfied until recently. Customer service is so hit and miss now. As others here have said, some of the personnel here have a poor service demeanor. They seem bothered being asked questions and in one case became frustrated at me not knowing how their systems work. It is also annoying how small their children's medicine selection is and it's always poorly stocked. Given the family neighborhood, this needs major improvement. The location is still great though and it's never crowded. Self checkout is thankfully easy to use. I might raise my score once they install ChatGPT and I can get a friendly, helpful assistance everytime.
