I would not recommend CVS to anyone I know. This pharmacy has been highly unprofessional and has failed to take responsibility for their mistakes. I've encountered numerous issues with this location, including a situation where they caused problems with my insurance, effectively locking me into using their services. When I expressed my dissatisfaction in a review, the pharmacist quickly called me at home to address it. Today, they made yet another mistake, and once again failed to take responsibility. The pharmacist, Alonso, was unable to resolve the error and instead argued with me, even suggesting that I might run short on my medication. He then passed the phone to the pharmacy manager, who couldn't make sense of the situation and attempted to blame me, falsely accusing me of picking up my medications at another location, which was impossible due to the situation they had created. I overheard conflicting stories from the entire staff, only to have the blame unfairly placed on me. The pharmacy manager instructed me to contact my insurance to inquire about the last filled prescription, something that should have been handled by them since they caused the mess in the first place. It's quite audacious for them to call me back about my experience. They need to address their issues and provide better training for their staff. I wouldn't visit this location even if my life depended on it, as the incompetence and lack of accountability here could potentially have serious consequences.

This location is great. Both the guys working there (both with glasses) are always so nice and attentive! I deposit cash here once a week, ( I have capital one) and I've always had a good experience.

All I wanted to know was where to find the drawing salve. The pharmacist, who never made eye contact with me or spoke to me for over seven minutes of me standing at the consultation counter, told the gal (who looked to him instead of answering my "quick question") that he told me he'd be with me in a minute. With a pharmacy pretty much on every corner around here, they should probably be more concerned about customer service to stand out in a sea of pharmacies. I have no reason to ever stop there again and anyone looking for actual customer service would be smart to look elsewhere.

I’m almost 96% sure I am being followed in this store whenever I am shopping which is every now and then for makeup, seasonal items, prescription pickups etc. I am a Black American woman and most time when I look up it’s the same employee (male, Caucasian, black hair) pretending to be busy on the adjacent aisle or the same aisle on some of my visits including this evenings a little before 6PM. One day, I actually startled him because he was so “busy” being nosey and waiting for me to walk the other way, I said Hello! And walked right past him ?. Stop with the subtle stereotypes/prejudice behaviors or whatever you are teaching your employees and isolating frequent shoppers out, it’s very obvious and gross. I will go again with my wife soon to see what she thinks and because I am a frequent shopper.

Tired of being racially profiled and followed whenever I enter the store or check out. Thought it was a coincidence the first few times, until my last visit where 2 white men where allowed to use self checkout but when it was my turn (only had a bag of candy worth less than $3) an employee (who was MIA until now), walks over, cancels my transaction and says I have to be rung up at a register. They then spend several minutes trying to sign me up for a cvs card, even after I decline Imagine making minimum wage but assuming someone will steal solely based the color of their skin. I stg all these cvs employees have is the audacity.

The worst pharmacy. After I pick up my meds today, I'm moving everything to HEB. Have been sitting in the drive-thru for 25 minutes bc the one car ahead has been sitting at the window for 25 minutes. They are clearing filling his prescription vs simply picking up one that is ready. Good customer service would have them pull forward so the 5 cars waiting could be helped. I called them & they literally hung up on me when I asked what was going on. There was no option to get out of the line & go in. Never again CVS.

We have been going to this CVS location ever since we moved to Austin back in 2014. We have moved 2 more times but still keep going back for our prescriptions there. Today, I was blown away at the level of customer service. I went in today and purchased a pack of expensive batteries (like $22 for 2). I check out at the self serve machine and left. An hour and change later I realize the batteries were gone. I thought I left them at the self serve machine.I called CVS and Christopher answered and spent several minutes looking around the front of the store and asking colleagues if they saw it. He apologized but couldn’t find it. Out of left field, I asked if I gave him the exact time of the receipt could he look at the cameras and see whether I left the store with the bag or just the receipt. He asked for my number and said he would call me back.I didn’t think he would call but lo and behold there was a voicemail and Christopher said that he saw me grab my receipt and then my bag.At that moment it realized that when I threw away my fast food bag I must have thrown away the CVS bag. I went through the trash and saw the CVS bag with the batteries inside. What a huge relief. Thank you Christopher and CVS for going above and beyond!

Always short staffed and constantly hiring at $15 per hour. Everyone I interact here looks and acts stressed out and could care less about helping me as a customer. Just pitiful every time. I'll be taking my business elsewhere

I just had the best minute clinic visit with Debra Barnett NP this morning and she was amazing! Absolutely listened to everything I had to share about my medical conditions, and was not only knowledgeable but compassionate about what I needed. So thankful I had an appointment with her and hope to be able to work with her again if I need it in the future! 10/10 starts!

The absolute worse CVS I have ever been to. I have had various negative experiences picking up my prescriptions from this location and then yesterday was by far the least pleasant. I went in and had two prescriptions to pick up. I had grabbed a couple of non-medical items since I was in a rush and typically the cashier at the pharmacy will just let me purchase this all together. Instead, the pharmacist sees me nearing and starts complaining about how there should be policies against customers purchasing non-medical items at the pharmacy. I have been going to CVS for over 10 years and I have never once had them complain or ask me to go to the front desk to pay. After this guy complained I clearly did not want to purchase items with him so I purchased my prescriptions with him and brought my stuff up front to pay once I got up front there was no cashier and another customer waiting to be helped. When the cashier finally comes he has me use self check out instead of just helping me and I then had to ask for his assistance every step of the way because the self-help was not working. In the end, I wasted 25 minutes at CVS purchasing several items that would have been cheaper at HEB or anywhere else, and that would have come with more pleasant customer service. I will be switching my prescriptions to be sent to a different store after this experience.

Near to me but it's always understaffed and lines can be long. Not very price competitive as compared to H‑E‑B far example. Overall it's clean and well organized.

Janet the store manager is an absolute rockstar. I had a gift card issue from a card I purchased here that I spent 10+ hours trying to fix with airbnb to no avail. Janet heard me out on the situation and got to the bottom of it to troubleshoot what had happened, spending hours on the phone herself when it would have been easy to have told me they were unable to help. She ended up confirming the issue and fixing it. I am super appreciative of her going above and beyond and will be making sure to return to this store for any various needs. Thanks again!

This pharmacy is the worst. They have one nice employee. They have not had 3 out of the last 4 medications that we needed and had to order. And were horrible at communicating that. I got a prescription that my insurance denied, yet the person said they did run it. Paid way too much when I could have used a coupon if someone would have informed me. I tried to call the next day to ask more questions after being dismissed by the girl who answered. I have moved pharmacies. Do not waste your time!
