CVS is, well, CVS - an old dependable. What made me write a review is their easy accessability to vaccines. Over the past 6 months, I recieved several: flu, Covid, and shingles. This CVS is conveniently located, easy to schedule online, and the pharmacy staff are personable and professional. Each time I visited, I had the same nurse administer the vaccine, and each time she displayed excellent patient care, was very friendly and knowledgeable about potential side effects. In addition, if you have an account they keep a shot record for you.

I had an appointment to get COVID and flu vaccines at 3:30 today. I Arrived about 20 minutes early after driving across Austin, about a 20 minute drive. When I arrived at this CVS I checked in at the pharmacy. The pharmacist told me that I would have to wait. After waiting about 10 minutes the pharmacist told me that this location is our of COVID vaccine and that everyone was called to cancel all appointments for the COVID vaccine. Know one called me. Don't get any vaccines at CVS, this pharmacy doesn't care about customers.

This CVS has the worst and rudest employees. They are not helpful and give you attitude when you ask for help. What is the purpose of giving a receipt with numbers for photos and then they don't know what they are for?! Don't recommend using this CVS.

Please do not advertise that you have a Dr Scholls kiosk when you don't. Waste of a damn trip.

Prescriptions failed to arrive in a timely manner. My prescription was delayed two days after it said it would be ready, and when I called on the second day, I was told it would be ready for pick up. Called again later to discover it was still in Dallas. Feel misled by the techs.

If I could give zero stars then I would. A female pharmacy worker made me feel like she was doing me a favor to find a CVS that had ear infection medicine available today for my miserable 4 yr old. Very disappointing and unprofessional. I made sure that she found a location with it. There was lots of passive aggressiveness on her part. The front cashiers were very nice though.

I purchased 3 gift cards valued at $25. One of the cards showed an “error” code on my receipt. I brought back the cards with the receipt and asked the manager if she could please activate the card for me. She told me gift cards are not refundable and I am stuck with the card. I verified with my Amex that I was charged in full for it. I completely don’t understand how unreasonable someone can be. Not worth fighting with the woman over $25, but it shows how corporate CVS teaches their managers to treat customers. TERRIBLE.

I'd give it zero stars if I could. We've been loyal customers for 17 years but the last year has been too painful and we'll no longer be getting our Rx here. They've just botched too many Rx for us to trust them.

If I could give negative stars I would. The lady took blurry pictures and one of my kids wasn’t even looking at the camera. We asked for the pictures to be redone because we have to drive over an hour to get the passports and didn’t want to be denied due to terrible pictures. The lady said we would have to pay to get them redone. And also argued that the photos were fine. Better chance on doing this at home.

As is typical of every CVS in Austin, understaffed, depressing, incompetent and infuriating. Avoid this CVS unless you want to waste an afternoon here as their clueless staff stares helplessly. My toddler would be better at running a pharmacy.

If I could give a 0 star I would do that. Staff was zero collaborative, knowledgeable and/or customer oriented. I went to the pharmacy and asked for one COVID test. They sent me to the front and I was charged for the box of two. Then I went back to the pharmacy since they said they would do the claim and for my surprise instead of asking for me to be reimbursed, they asked my insurance company to pay them directly. I explained that I already paid at the front and wanted to get reimbursed. They directed me back to the front to get the reimbursement. Then it was a long line . I waited my turn and when I asked for reimbursement,They looked at me like if I was crazy and told me to go back to the pharmacy. Anyway after a lot of talking and bad customer service, they said they could reverse the claim but they could not give me any proof.I don’t even know if they did it not and i won’t be able to get reimbursement since this box was going to be my maximum of 8 COVID test kids my insurance company pays .

My family and I have gone to this CVS pharmacy for 29 years now and I have never been more appalled by such poor treatment than I was yesterday. If I could give zero stars, I would. Whoever the pharmacist is has no idea how to treat people kindly and not only yelled out the name of the prescription (which is for ANXIETY— this obviously only made me feel humiliated and even more anxious) in front of about 15 people waiting to get their vaccine… which is a massive HIPAA Violation and I reported her immediately while I left the store. She continued to tell me she was refusing to fill the prescription and was blurting my personal information out in front of everyone. I finally broke down and began to cry. I asked if she or I could call my doctor, and she told me no. She told me it was “illegal” to refill my prescription even though it’s been well past the 30 day renewal period. I called my therapist and medication manager and they are reporting this woman as well. They told me that no one should ever be made to feel insecure for their mental disorders, especially from someone who supposedly went to school to learn about medicine. H‑E‑B filled my prescription same-day so that I could get on my flight and we will never be returning to this CVS pharmacy. Let her go before she gets your entire store shut down for literally lying to customers because she doesn’t want to work and making HIPAA Violations left and right. The woman who checked me out for the one prescription I was able to pick up (even though my text confirmation said they were both ready) apologized profusely for the pharmacist’s behavior because I was visibly crying; SHE was amazing and I can’t thank her enough for being the only bright light for me in that establishment.

0/5 would be a better description. How can a Pharmacy lose a patient’s medicine? Oh, and there isn’t a pharmacist working for an almost 24 hours consecutive period. Nothing can be done to find my medicine. I have a receipt with an order number and it says “delivered”. It’s just gone. $1,000 of medicine just disappears into thin air.
