CVS Minute clinic is wonderful. Both providers helped me with infections when my regular clinic was booked up. They are kind, knowledgeable, and it is fantastic to be able to fill the RX at the pharmacy within the hour. I am so grateful; they are fantastic resource to patients since regular clinics are usually booked solid. Thanks for being an invaluable resource to South Austin.

Again, all the insurance records messed up. I've had to update my insurance information (I've had the same insurance company for five years) four times this year alone. The very sweet pharmacy aide said, as she looked up my insurance policy, that it has been changed multiple times. Not by me it hasn't. Their record keeping seems to be a mess.

This pharmacy has to be the most inefficient places on earth. Can't seem to read instructions. Don't care if people are in pain. Slower than molasses.

This has to be the worst pharmacy in Austin. The manager Veronica would not fill my prescription cause “I can’t fill prescriptions from Houston doctors”. She then told me I need to switch to a local doctor (which is none of her business) Then I showed her the address on the script was an Austin address. She considered filling it but wanted to confirm with the doctor's office after her 1:30-2 lunch break. I waited 30 minutes for her to tell me prescription was fraudulent (which it is not). She refused to call my doctor. My doctor contacted the pharmacist and she proceeded to tell my doctor that the script was fake and would not budge. Total idiot! Formal complaint in process.Update: Walgreens in FORT WORTH filled the script no problem from a Houston doctor, with an Austin patient address. Total waste of time this lady is.

James is the most rude guy at this CvS. He yelled at me asking my name and dob. I do not recommend this CVS to anyone, this guy is really not a customer oriented employee.

Do not come to this store if you need any help at all, they don't keep much staff in the store in the first place and their register is almost never open, they force you to use a self check out here.

The pharmacy department is one of the worst. Manager is very rude and unhelpful. I have a dog with epilepsy and they have screwed up filling his medication on more than one occasion. Not allowing us to manually enter our CC number when my husband forgot his wallet, and they were about to close, and unfortunately we were out of our dogs Meds and needed them filled that evening. Another time they didn't bother to let us know they were out of an emergency seizure medication, and had us waiting around for 4 hours expecting a call or text, yet no one contacted us to tell us they were out. This poor customer service and poor management can cause severe medical problems with their customers. People depend on pharmacy's to run efficiently and to be i. Contact when they cannot fill a request. Peoples ( and dogs) medication is not a game.

I highly recommend this CVS for anyone in South Austin! Drive thru pharmacy, and the minute clinic inside are both a nice addition that other pharmacies do not have. This location is also always stocked well, and pharmacy staff is great.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. Their pharmacy failed to give me my prescription for 3 months. I attempted to pick it up multiple times, and they said it needed doctor approvals...my doctor called them to approve it, went back and they said the prescription expired. I've only used them as a pharmacy for 3 months but not receiving one medication for all three months; I will never be going back. They don't know what eff they're doing and due to their complete incompetence, I'm still without my meds that I need. Do not go there, as their pharmacist Veronica is unhelpful, their techs don't know what the heck is happening which leads to increased AND unnecessary health concerns for patients.

WARNING: possible price gauging This store seems like any other CVS till you actually look at the prices. I picked a gallon jug of water. Brought to self checkout. It was priced at $9.99. A gallon at $9.99? I thought it must be a mistake. Asked the cash register attendant to fix because it's a mistake. He called the manager to fix. Manager said he can't fix the price because it's not a mistake. Price is higher because of supply and demand. Then I realized that after the February 2021 winter snowpocalypse (the following weekend) they had raised the price. Keep in mind Governor Abbot issued a warning to all the vendors to avoid price gauging.
