I work for the Internal Revenue Service. Used this "company" to do my taxes TWO years in a row in 2021 and 2022 just to get a compliance letter from my employer that my taxes were filed LATE over two years later. This is a big deal to me because i can lose my job because of frank's inability to do the service I PAID FOR correctly. I DO NOT recommend this place at all. On top of that when i called to ask why my taxes for 2021 were submitted late i got a bunch of silence and an excuse. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE!

We have been going to Frank for our taxes for about 14 years now, maybe more. We tried others a few times when Frank was busy - and we went right back to him. I saw some reviews here questioning his knowledge of the subject. I would completely disagree and our experience has been anything but. And we have fairly complicated requirements including multiple houses, stocks, etc., Besides, our tax visits are usually fun where we usually end up having a great time chatting with Frank. He has a great sense of humor. He is definitely old school and is a lot easier to get hold of in person or phone than via email, but that's also why we like him. I would not hesitate for a second to recommend Frank to anyone for their tax needs.

I would not recommend using Cube Tax Service for your tax needs. My tax preparer Spencer missed submitting a W-2 for 2021 and when I filed my taxes in 2022, the IRS contacted me to let me know of the mistake and now I have to pay the IRS over $8,000! Since this mistake was brought to light, Spencer did not return any of my calls or emails. I then called the office and spoke to Frank who assured me he would take care of it. This happened last year and here we are months later and this issue is still not resolved. Every time I call their office number, all I get is their voice message and despite leaving messages, I've not had not one call returned. They have a portal to which Frank has answered some of my questions but when I messaged him on Dec. 8th to ask about the status of my payment, I've yet to get a reply. I just called this morning again and YET AGAIN, the answering machine came on! Looks like I will be handling this directly with the IRS. Worst service I have ever received from any tax preparer. This is a family run business so you are not gonna get anywhere with Spencer, Frank, or Laura! I am forced to give them a star in order to publish this but that is not because they deserve 1 star.

I have used Frank for more than 20 yrs and my kids use Lara. They have always been great with tax knowledge/service and financial advice. I have had 2 IRS questions/needs after my tax submissions during that time and they handled both without any issues or real needs from me. I have always been very happy with their professionalism and service.

I seriously cannot say enough good things about Cube Tax Service. They make doing your taxes, getting required paperwork, and even asking dumb questions SO easy. I would give them 1000 stars if I could, honestly. I wouldn't even bother looking anywhere else in Austin.

I cannot recommend this tax service due to no effort on their part to provide resolution or updates. The rate for tax filing was more than double what I would have paid with TurboTax and the person that handled my taxes rambled on and on about the new car he was was planning to purchase. Never asked me ONE question... which is only important because I received a 1098 the day after I met with him. So an amendment has to be done, and no one seems to want to do it and provide me with an update of what I owe or should expect in the way of a refund.

I've had my taxes prepared by Frank and his staff for at least 12 years. Frank and his staff are always dependable, friendly and professional. I refuse to let anyone else prepare my taxes. Cube Tax Service is the best and I have been spoiled by their excellent service to the customer. If I had to I would drive to Dallas to have Frank prepare my taxes. I can talk to them and ask as many questions as I need. They never rush me and they take the time to make sure I understand my taxes. Frank and his staff are wonderful and a blessing to the Austin community.

I NEVER write reviews but the public should know that Frank is a scam, at least he was with my mom, so consumer beware. When he should have been supporting a tax return he advised and signed off on, Frank was "out of the office" or "in a meeting" for 3 months. Additionally, he tasked his front office with allowing him to continue such cowardice conduct. He not only demonstrated an inept understanding of specific tax laws, but cowered away when tasked a situation that any professional should have stepped to the plate for. Frank is not someone I would recommend and will be reported to BBB along with whatever body is accrediting him with beiong a "CPA." While may mom may never recoup the money she has paid the IRS on his incorrect advisement, I will make sure that locally no one makes the same mistake and getting taken advantage of. In the age of easy access of information for the consumer, I hope this will educate someone even considering his services! If you have had a similar experience, please share for the greater good.
