The Courtyard Austin Airport is a conveniently located hotel offering clean, decent, and relatively modern rooms with comfy beds at a reasonable price point, often better than nearer airports. Its excellent location provides easy airport access, including a convenient hotel-provided shuttle, and it is within walking distance to a Waffle House and 7/11. Many guests find the staff to be incredibly friendly, amazing, welcoming, communicative, and professional, with some noting that the staff truly sets the hotel apart. The property is also praised for being surprisingly quiet at night. However, some significant issues detract from the experience. Multiple guests reported major utility problems, including a complete lack of hot water, forcing ice-cold showers. Other room shortcomings include a lack of USB charging ports, an unclean bathtub, and discolored towels. Service inconsistencies were also noted, such as combative and unnecessarily argumentative front desk interactions, billing errors that were difficult to resolve, and limited food service availability. The lobby coffee was also criticized for being extremely weak.
