“One of my favorite places in Austin. Only wish I had known about this growing up! The most I've spent at once was $60. On $600+ worth of art supplies meant for a room-sized art project. Mind. Blown! Also, you meet the coolest people here!”
“Had my baby boy neutered. They were quick, professional, friendly, and informative! Loved their team. Very efficient! Also, they were very understanding as I was running behind the scheduled pick-up time.”
“Around a month ago, I was sojourning in Austin for the purpose of viewing the celestial phenomenon: the Total Solar Eclipse. I was looking for a YMCA to exercise at since I am a member of one back home, but unfortunately, my “home” YMCA recently joined the chain and thus doesn’t have its nationwide portal properly configured yet. However, despite my failed entry attempts, Townlake YMCA staff were very cordial and understanding of my issue. Instead of directing me to purchase a one day pass, staff allowed me to enter completely free of charge—on multiple occasions.Heightening my satisfaction with this particular Y was the fact that its surroundings are absolutely prepossessing and that it is situated in a very convenient location: it is practically right on the Colorado River and on the outskirts of downtown. In addition, the facility is one of the best I’ve ever witnessed, boasting new equipment and a fun-to-navigate layout.I will definitely be returning next time I visit Austin; though, I am not sure if I will do so anytime soon, considering the city’s growing homeless and crime problems…At any rate, this gymnasium thoroughly impressed me and significantly enhanced my experience in Austin.”
“Emancipet is the only vet I will be taking my cat back to for his healthy pet visits! After taking him to another ”affordable” vet in Austin and being hit with a not affordable cost for the most basic care, I wanted to try emancipet again after having gone to the Levander Loop location years ago with my other pets. I was SO impressed with this location! Arriving just after opening there was a wait, but they offer a cat room separate from where the dogs wait to keep kitties calm. The vet was incredibly kind and informative, and I was able to get in and out within 15 minutes once it was my turn to see the vet. For half the cost I paid at the other vet(which was a single vaccine along with FLV/FVRCP testing) I was able to get FVRCP, FLV, and rabies vaccines along with his microchip. So grateful for Emancipet for keeping veterinary care TRULY affordable!”
“The Texas Pharmacy Association is an exceptional organization, providing invaluable support and resources to pharmacists across the state. Their dedication to advancing pharmacy practice and advocating for the profession sets them apart as a true leader in the field.”
“Lovely people experience. I went to find nut plastic caps and also donated a spare wheel. If you want to find passionate people that fix bikes, you come here to yellow bike.”
“Fabulously prestigious atmosphere and decor, practically non-existent parking. Dance floors are great, but it's only A/C, no fans for air movement. You will have a blast, but arrive early.”

“This is an awesome facility that I and so many people of the LGBTQIA and supporters community need and feel safe while seeking and maintaining recovery from a multitude of addictions. Thank you for all the support and understanding”
“We found out about this place through Pogo Pass and I'm glad we did because it is an awesome way to see what life was like for pioneers in Texas. They have a lot of cool exhibits and some are even interactive. There is a lot of walking if you want to see everything on the farm. Definitely worth checking out if you're interested in history!”
“Fab welcoming place to work out. I love the swim classes and I just did a hiit class that kicked my butt in the most delightful way. Instructors are knowledgeable and fun.”
“1. Loved the child to trainer ratios and attention to child's capabilities and fears

“My son, who has ADHD and Autism, has done wonderfully in the extended YMCA program and summer camps. They truly allow kids to be kids; they are well-equipped with plenty of staff and offer a lot of support for children with special needs. The camps and programs he was in prior didn’t understand him, made an issue about everything, and made him follow a strict schedule with out giving him any optional activities, while the YMCA has plenty of activities for your child to do. It’s a place where kids can be themselves, they are not put down, and they understand regular kid behavior as they don’t make a big deal about every little thing. I never worry about my child’s well-being and whether he is doing well. My child has flourished with these programs/camps. Most importantly he feels welcomed and safe. I highly recommend them, and my son is happy!”

“Fabulous shows! I highly recommend & support the free productions put on here. Come early, bring a picnic & if you bring tall chairs, be courteous & sit in the back. There's nothing ruder than sitting your kids in the grass with an amazing view while people squeeze in late & setup their large, bulky chairs in front of your small children.”
“Great company! Great team! Supportive employer with a strong sense of community! Each day brings on new challenges, diverse tasks and opportunities. Lucky to be a part of such an incredible and inspiring non-profit organization that raises funds for charitable foundations.”
“I haven't been to the North Austin YMCA in about three years. I remember actually applying to an executive employment opportunity at the location and I stopped through to see about a course offering back then.Yesterday I decided to pass through. As soon you walk through the entrance there's a customer service desk so YMCA members can scan themselves in, and patrons can be assisted by the front desk clerks. They're eager to assist as soon as they see you. In fact I received a free day pass and was told the next time I visit I would pay the customary $15 for a day pass. One of the first things I noticed is that the lobby floor is shiny and everything looks really clean. Patrons were steadily coming in with work out gear, and parents were escorting their children here and there. This was around 6PM and the parking lot had about 50-60 cars or maybe more. This tells me the community is satisfied with the services provided by the location, and both of my experiences were welcoming. Before leaving I actually browsed over a bunch of fliers on a table highlighting course offerings for children and adults. There's not much going on in regards to community building taking place in North Austin. It's good to see the YMCA organization in the area and doing a great job. Stop on through if you're in the neighborhood or visiting.”
“My FAVORITE charity!??? Donate your items to help support their wonderful cause… saving SO many dogs & cats! AND, you don’t have to donate your clothing based on seasons! In other words, bring your winter coats and donate them in the middle of summer! ”
“I have had an outstanding experience with the Risk & Insurance Education Alliance since 2008. Their programs are incredibly well-structured, practical, and relevant to real-world insurance situations. The instructors are highly knowledgeable, engaging, and truly invested in the success of their students.
I especially appreciate the focus on applicable skills that I can use immediately in my work, as well as the supportive and professional learning environment they foster. The resources and materials provided are top-notch and make complex topics much easier to understand.
I highly recommend the Risk & Insurance Education Alliance to anyone in the industry who is looking to expand their expertise and stay current with best practices.”
“I had never heard or been to Big Austin until I signed up for a drawing they had. There are some awesome things I found out that go on around and in the place. Ms.Cheesie, thank you for making my time spent there worth while, it was great learning about what you all do there, and it was great socializing with you and others. Keep doing what you're doing for our community. We need you.”
“My son went to Sweet Briar from 2yrs old until he went to Kindergarten this year. He truly enjoyed going and loved all of his teachers. Ms. Maria, the center Director, is wonderful. She is responsive, caring, and very supportive. While all the teachers are great, my son especially loved Ms Jeanette, the Pre-K teacher. You can definitely tell that she cares about her kids. All in all, we had a wonderful experience! It’s always tough sending your kiddos away for the day and trust them in someone else’s hands, but we always felt comfortable and knew our son was well taken care of.”
“Misty will greet you at the front desk. Always super friendly and helpful whether you're looking for help finding a pack for your daughter/son or submitting your Eagle application.”

“This is an update paragraph. This facility only gets better. It is an absolutely wonderful project that everyone in Austin should visit and see what is possible when someone has the heart, the energy and the finances. It is truly incredible what they have done. My compliments to all involved. We should all donate when we can.Good people sharing their time energy and resources with those that are less fortunate. This place is immaculately clean and we have driven through it several times. I don’t know anywhere in Austin that is any better kept than this facility.”
“I recently had my first child & struggled with breastfeeding. I was terrified to check out of the hospital & go home to reality. I ordered a small supply of donor milk & it was key to easing my anxiety. The women who run this place are incredible. Excellent customer service! I also felt like they knew me as a person. They knew my case & could advise me through the process. This is such important work & I am beyond thankful to the women who donate. I hope to be able to donate myself someday. I would love to give back.”
“They are so welcoming and generous...just the nicest people ? They have pretty much anything you need...because they care. Also, a huge thank you to all the groups that come a supply/make food for the families here!”

“As a POC, and first-time shopper, I felt like I was treated with dignity and respect by the many volunteers I interacted with and walked past. Absolutely can't wait to come back here, and already have a date set up to bring my friend with me so they can see how awesome this place is too! Thank you volunteers for making this a welcoming space!”
“I was fortunate to be able to attend the Dress for Success in Austin with other fellow veterans. What a wonderful experience for us all to be pampered (hair, makeup, business clothing, etc…) by their staff. We were honored to be able to attend and listen to their success stories. Great opportunity for us to network and bridge friendships!”
“EGBI is an excellent resource for small business owners. My business has been positively impacted by the coaching and classes offered at EGBI. A special thanks to Monica and Wendy for their support and expertise in marketing and social media.”
