1144 Airport Blvd #260, Austin“One of my favorite places in Austin. Only wish I had known about this growing up! The most I've spent at once was $60. On $600+ worth of art supplies meant for a room-sized art project. Mind. Blown! Also, you meet the coolest people here!”
“Lovely people experience. I went to find nut plastic caps and also donated a spare wheel. If you want to find passionate people that fix bikes, you come here to yellow bike.”
“Fabulously prestigious atmosphere and decor, practically non-existent parking. Dance floors are great, but it's only A/C, no fans for air movement. You will have a blast, but arrive early.”

6809 Guadalupe St, Austin“This is an awesome facility that I and so many people of the LGBTQIA and supporters community need and feel safe while seeking and maintaining recovery from a multitude of addictions. Thank you for all the support and understanding”
“Around a month ago, I was sojourning in Austin for the purpose of viewing the celestial phenomenon: the Total Solar Eclipse. I was looking for a YMCA to exercise at since I am a member of one back home, but unfortunately, my “home” YMCA recently joined the chain and thus doesn’t have its nationwide portal properly configured yet. However, despite my failed entry attempts, Townlake YMCA staff were very cordial and understanding of my issue. Instead of directing me to purchase a one day pass, staff allowed me to enter completely free of charge—on multiple occasions.Heightening my satisfaction with this particular Y was the fact that its surroundings are absolutely prepossessing and that it is situated in a very convenient location: it is practically right on the Colorado River and on the outskirts of downtown. In addition, the facility is one of the best I’ve ever witnessed, boasting new equipment and a fun-to-navigate layout.I will definitely be returning next time I visit Austin; though, I am not sure if I will do so anytime soon, considering the city’s growing homeless and crime problems…At any rate, this gymnasium thoroughly impressed me and significantly enhanced my experience in Austin.”
“We found out about this place through Pogo Pass and I'm glad we did because it is an awesome way to see what life was like for pioneers in Texas. They have a lot of cool exhibits and some are even interactive. There is a lot of walking if you want to see everything on the farm. Definitely worth checking out if you're interested in history!”
“Fabulous shows! I highly recommend & support the free productions put on here. Come early, bring a picnic & if you bring tall chairs, be courteous & sit in the back. There's nothing ruder than sitting your kids in the grass with an amazing view while people squeeze in late & setup their large, bulky chairs in front of your small children.”
“Emancipet is the only vet I will be taking my cat back to for his healthy pet visits! After taking him to another ”affordable” vet in Austin and being hit with a not affordable cost for the most basic care, I wanted to try emancipet again after having gone to the Levander Loop location years ago with my other pets. I was SO impressed with this location! Arriving just after opening there was a wait, but they offer a cat room separate from where the dogs wait to keep kitties calm. The vet was incredibly kind and informative, and I was able to get in and out within 15 minutes once it was my turn to see the vet. For half the cost I paid at the other vet(which was a single vaccine along with FLV/FVRCP testing) I was able to get FVRCP, FLV, and rabies vaccines along with his microchip. So grateful for Emancipet for keeping veterinary care TRULY affordable!”
“What can I say about the APA? I get literally 90% of my clothing here. The staff is always friendly, the finds are incredible and they're always running 50% off sales. Plus, you can earn rewards for every dollar you spend!! Anddd it all goes to helping the pets Oltorf is crowded but I usually find the most stuff here and there's Princess Peaches . Definitely check out all of their locations!”
“Love this location. They have childcare (with the sweetest caregivers)!! I have twins and no family in the area or babysitters. Coming to the YMCA is a miracle because I get an hour to myself, just me, to work on me....and it's such a relief. Just that hour makes me a much a better Mom/wife/human the rest of the day/week. Having childcare allows me to show up for my family the other 90% of the day. Thank you!”

111 W Anderson Ln. E 340 B, Austin“I have been to several of their events. It is absolutely legit. In the last banquet they honored an active Navy Seal giving him an expensive sporting equipment and a all paid vacation. They also did a drawing for just veterans, and gave them a standing ovation. Two years ago they gave $5,000 to a single parent police officer wounded in line of duty. I have had a great time with them and respect the work their doing.”
“My FAVORITE charity!??? Donate your items to help support their wonderful cause… saving SO many dogs & cats! AND, you don’t have to donate your clothing based on seasons! In other words, bring your winter coats and donate them in the middle of summer! ”

1000 W Rundberg Ln, Austin“I haven't been to the North Austin YMCA in about three years. I remember actually applying to an executive employment opportunity at the location and I stopped through to see about a course offering back then.Yesterday I decided to pass through. As soon you walk through the entrance there's a customer service desk so YMCA members can scan themselves in, and patrons can be assisted by the front desk clerks. They're eager to assist as soon as they see you. In fact I received a free day pass and was told the next time I visit I would pay the customary $15 for a day pass. One of the first things I noticed is that the lobby floor is shiny and everything looks really clean. Patrons were steadily coming in with work out gear, and parents were escorting their children here and there. This was around 6PM and the parking lot had about 50-60 cars or maybe more. This tells me the community is satisfied with the services provided by the location, and both of my experiences were welcoming. Before leaving I actually browsed over a bunch of fliers on a table highlighting course offerings for children and adults. There's not much going on in regards to community building taking place in North Austin. It's good to see the YMCA organization in the area and doing a great job. Stop on through if you're in the neighborhood or visiting.”

It is an absolutely wonderful project that everyone in Austin should visit and see what is possible when someone has the heart, the energy and the finances. It is truly incredible what they have done. My compliments to all involved. We should all donate when we can.Good people sharing their time energy and resources with those that are less fortunate. This place is immaculately clean and we have driven through it several times. I don’t know anywhere in Austin that is any better kept than this facility.”

“I recently had my first child & struggled with breastfeeding. I was terrified to check out of the hospital & go home to reality. I ordered a small supply of donor milk & it was key to easing my anxiety. The women who run this place are incredible. Excellent customer service! I also felt like they knew me as a person. They knew my case & could advise me through the process. This is such important work & I am beyond thankful to the women who donate. I hope to be able to donate myself someday. I would love to give back.”
“I was fortunate to be able to attend the Dress for Success in Austin with other fellow veterans. What a wonderful experience for us all to be pampered (hair, makeup, business clothing, etc…) by their staff. We were honored to be able to attend and listen to their success stories. Great opportunity for us to network and bridge friendships!”
“Absolutely incredible. I've never seen a community as caring and well-designed as Community First. If you get the chance to volunteer, please do. It's amazing!”

900 Springdale Road, Austin“Truly an experience one will remember for life! Austin has such an amazing bike network I never realized only until I was guided by the professionals from BikeTexas using their top-of-the-line e-bikes. I admit, I was intimidated by e-bikes because I never used one before, but it was so easy! I can't believe I never tried it before. I really recommend anyone looking for a memorable group experience to try this bike tour!”
