“Nisha saved us in quickly getting our outfits for our friends wedding! We were a mess and didn’t realize there was a specific attire for our friends wedding until the night before we flew out. When we got to her house/business, she greeted us with a bright smile, looked at my fiancé and I and already knew what to let us try on. We found all our outfits + jewelry with Taj Fashion and didn’t have to go anywhere else. We highly recommend going here to find your Indian attire. Nisha is the best!”
“Hunter quickly greeted us at the front and immediately saw we needed help with 4th of July stuff. He was super patient with my son who had a vision for his 4th fit.”
“Loved it! Came in and was explained the ethical philosophy of the store, which centers South East Asian artists, and local artists. The selection is carefully curated and one can find jewelry, children books, home decor, ... - will definitely be back!”
“Secret Oktober is a staple of Austin and I have been coming here for years for all the dark or bright clothing and accessories I want for my wardrobe. There is such a diverse range of styles here that it is worth you coming to check out for yourself. From socks, hose/tights, jewelry, shirts, dresses, and jackets they have it all here. The sizing ranges too from smaller to even 2-3X sizes too which makes me super happy. Not everything is going to be on the larger size but take your time when you are here and look through the racks. There is something that will catch your eye. This is Secret Oktober's new spot located on Menchaca that shares a coffeeshop, music venue, a bookshop, and even a bicycle spot all within the same shopping area. It is in the perfect spot to park and walk around to visit the other shops. Super happy to welcome them to South Austin!”

“I needed some coffee on a Sunday afternoon & happened upon Brother Friend. We were greeted by Sunny, the shop dog who can also lead you to the coffee area.
My husband and I had a great time chatting with everyone. Even though it was our first time, they made us feel more like friends than customers.
The coffee was delicious and we’ll definitely be back.”
“Great, one of a kind, amazing place to visit. They are the small American Veteran Owned Businesses you feel good supporting through purchasing amazing products. You will not find more comfortable shirts or shorts. I have 4 shirts I bought from them in 2011 and I can still wear them. Neck is not loose nor are there holes in the arm stitching. Seriously, you can buy anything from this store and know you will be happy with the product and who you bought it from.”
“Various clothing options from alternative brands such as Killstar and Mary Wyatt as well as accessories and home goods. Staff is very kind. Very happy with my purchase :)”

7434 N Lamar Blvd, Austin“What a great experience shopping at the Tyler’s on Lamar. I found what I needed and was blown away by the sale racks. Great prices, great customer service. Shout out to Summer who was the sweetest when I checked out .”
“The building is outstanding both inside and out and is a feast for the eyes. They have a tailor on site which is great because if you're paying the kind of money this place charges you may as well go the whole way and get a perfect fitting outfit. The clothing was well done and the styles were fitting for what's trendy now but my wife and daughter felt the prices were far too high, I didn't mind spending the money but they felt they could get more for less elsewhere so that's what we did.So while not a five star for me if your into this brand and price doesn't matter compared to value then it's a great place.”
“We could have spent all day in this small shop!! The owner and staff were super cool to talk to while we shopped. It was neat to see the various clothing from different times and try things on that we would wear today. There was a nice selection of jewelry and accessories as well. Everything was reasonably priced. I'd recommend coming here if you like unique things and want to find some cool pieces for your wardrobe.”

5222 Burnet Rd #150, Austin“A huge shout out to Shelby from Sue Patrick! She went far and beyond helping mom process a large purchase of big items. She and another staff member helped her load her pickup truck in spite of the busy season. We love the variety and uniqueness of UT items, and not to mention the women's apparel handpicked by Mrs. Sue.”
“Musa and League of Rebels have come through for me not once but twice this summer on very very short order with suits in emergency situations including an overnight express. Grateful for the team and the service. You can’t find a place better in Austin or maybe the world on all fronts.”
“Purchased a suit for my upcoming wedding and Heather Beck made the whole process personalized. After trying it on I couldn't be more excited to have a suit as special as the occasion.”
“Hands down my favorite store in Austin. I’ve made it a weekly ritual of making my way easy every Saturday to check out what they have. Normally making a weekly trip to a local store would eventually get repetitive, take heart always has something new to discover.
Owner and employees are top notch. They’re friendly and helpful but don’t hover over you.”
“was told i should shop here(black owned) for my birthday outfits instead of Niemann and Marcus by my daughters . Glad they recommended this place Bryce and Damien were really helpful and both had a keen eye for fashion. Highly recommend Aisle 5. Really cool store !”

316 Congress Ave., Austin“This Patagonia store has an uncommonly large selection compared to most I've visited. As with all Patagonia I've been in, the staff was friendly and super-helpful. There was a good selection of summer, winter, technical, casual, and non-heavily branded clothing (for those who don't like in-your-face branding). If you're in the area and you like Patagonia as a brand, this store is worth a visit.”
“If you’re looking for the best thrifty finds this is the place! I find the absolute best items- I NEVER leave empty handed with cool authentic vintage items and great everyday wearables. Fabulous!!”

1008 E 6th St, Austin“Fun vintage store covering many different styles. They also have local designs and accessories. We found a great dress there.
When we stopped by on a week day night they even had a dj and drinks.
There's paid parking available on Sixth Street and free parking on further streets.”
“Great place for unique souvenirs. A custom hat bar and clothing. I was looking for special souvenirs before flying out and found this boutique off the main street. Easy walk. Maddie was so friendly and helpful. Love this boutique and would love to have time to make a personalize hat! I picked up some necklaces instead.”

“Motorcyclist Will love it here! This store is a must stop location when in Austin. Stop by and check out the super cafe racer vibe. The shop is rustic but modern. They have some of the most stylish gear and clothing here. Lots of fun can be had plus they rent motorcycles. Like the fun ones! Lastly, talk to the staff. They have so much knowledge on great areas to ride or just fun spots to visit. Enjoy”
“Oscar can hem, lengthen, fix, patch, redesign anything. He's great! I've used Oscar's for years from hemming drapes, mending leather pants, altering all sorts of clothes.”
“Loved the stuff I bought. Tall dude (didn’t get his name) super helpful finding everything I was looking for in the right sizes. For sure ended up leaving with more than I expected because the dude was so helpful”
“I truly appreciate Hakan’s assistance on choosing my weeding Tuxedo. The guy was truly professional and assisted me without being pressured in any way. I would definitely recommend ModernMan in Austin.”
